Walking Ghost Tour of Historic Annapolis

We found the tour interesting, informative and fun. Our tour guide was both knowledgable and entertaining. She was well spoken and delivered her tour professionally. A nice way to spend a Saturday evening.

It was a lovely time. The weather was perfect for the walk, The leader spoke clearly for all to hear and the stories were intriguing.

Our guide was very entertaining with personal tales and ghost stories mixed with history of Annapolis.

We left the tour 15 minutes after it started.

The tour had potential but our specific tourguide was not the best story teller. In the words of my friend 'it was painful.' We ended up sneaking away after the 3rd area because we couldn't take it anymore. Annapolis is beautiful and it was nice to see the places, but the story tellnig was just awful.

This tour was a repeat for me, but a first for my three friends. When I first took the tour (Oct. 2006) the guide was organized and informed. The guide for our tour at 9PM on Sat October 4, 2008 had trouble finding her way around Annapolis. And compared to the guide we had in Oct 2006, her discussion/description at each site was rather thin and not particularly informative.

The tour was very interesting and a lot of fun, and the mood was set as much as it could be in an active city like Annapolis. I recommend this tour to anyone who likes to see into the shadows of history.

The tour brought us to several places of Historic interest. The details and stories of each location's past added to the intrigue of the tour. Although we didn't meet up with any of the Ghosts and Goblins wandering around the sites visited, an eerie feeling creeps up on you as you walk around Annapolis, at night, visiting the historic past. The tour guide's references to personal experiences and and those of acquaintences added to the already nervous energy in the air, both living and dead. I've been on quite a few Ghost Tours, and this was up there with the best. I would recommend it to any who want to mix History with Mystery! Patti

My husband and I really enjoyed the tour. Julia was a great story teller and really made us start to think about the local area we are in. It made us want to go experience more of the history of Annapolis. The night was cool and crisp which only added to the mystery and excitement of the night and the fun in hunting for ghosts. We fully reccommend it and are planning on doing it again soon with more friends! Do this tour, and go into it with an open mind ready for anything, it makes it more exciting as well as entertaining. You'll be suprised on how much you learn about the area as well! Thanks for a great experience and providing the knowledgeable staff.
