We met our tour guide, Katy, on Monday evening 10/19/09 at the Maryland Inn - this was very convienent for my husband and myself since we were staying there. The tour was everything we expected, and it was fun to walk around the city at night and find out about the resident ghosts. It was on the tour that we learned the Maryland Inn was haunted. We learned quite a lot about the city and the buildings included on the tour and Katy did an excellent job. My only regret was that we did not get to the Sly Fox to see if the ghost would pick my husband that night! I highly recommend this tour. It is exciting, interesting and provides a new perspective on the lifestyle of older times!
Next time we come, we'll try to work in the haunted pub crawl which were predominately weekend scheduling. Would I take this tour again? Certainly! |

This was our family's first trip to Annapolis and first ghost tour. It rained, not sprinkled, our entire day and night in Annapolis. We took the tour on a rainy, 40 degree evening. We all enjoyed the tour and would like to do it again in better weather conditions. |

We had a very cold, and rainy evening for our ghost tour. While this added some ambiance to the evening it caused some changes in how our tour was conducted. We spent an added amount of time indoors listening to the stories and less time walking to all the sites mentioned. We enjoyed the stories and when we felt the chill up our spine we didn't know if it was the weather or the story! |

My family and I enjoyed the tour. I was a little disappointed that the tour guide was not in Period Dress. My husband and I went on a similar tour in Gettysburg and were very impressed with the tour guide dressed in the clothing of the particular period that she was speaking about. She also carried a lantern that was fashioned for that particular period. We also walked through a few of the places where things actually happened on our tour in Gettysburg. Our tour gude for this tour was well informed and very energetic, but I think that more could be offered for the price that we paid. I think that there should be at least one tour offered through at least one of the buildings. You really don't "get the feel" for the tour without being able to move through at least one of the buildings that you learn about on the tour. The one building--I believe it was the Brice (?) building --looked to be unoccupied. Could this be a future possiblity for an add-on to the tour? (Just a suggestion. :) ) |

The tour is a wonderful opportunity to learn about the history of Annapolis and some of its neighborhoods. Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly with a sense of humor. |

Our guide was a very good story teller. A lot of local history given. I'd go again, maybe the pub crawl. |

The stories were very long. There were some aspects that were interesting but overall I looked at my watch a lot. Nothing really grabbed your attention. The guide knew Annapolis very well and was pleasant. |

Tour was entertaining. Have been to several ghost tours - think of Gettysburg tours; would've liked to have seen guides dressed in a more "time period" attire set a more flavorful/dramatic feel, as the stories shared are from city's historical settlement period. |
