| When you're in your mid-to-late twenties and don't drink, it can be hard to find something fun to do while on a date. The Annapolis Ghost Tour was a great solution -- we ate dinner beforehand -- in one of the haunted locations, nonetheless! -- and met the tour guide just before 7. She led us and perhaps 20 other people on a nearly 2-hour tour of Annapolis, highlighting buildings that are "haunted" according to local tradition. We like ghost stories, so we enjoyed ourselves. She might have spent a bit too long in each location, because I did find my attention wandering toward the end of each stop, but it was still fun. It just gave us more time for pictures! |

| My girlfriend and I have been on several excellent ghost tours in Charleston, SC and Savannah, GA. The Annapolis tour was disappointing by comparison. The other tours have recounted more interesting events and provided more corroborating evidence such as newspaper and eyewitness accounts.
While the hostess was most enthusiastic, her tendancy towards the overly dramatic became less than appreciated after standing in the pouring rain for more than an hour with a leaky umbrella (provided) when the event was not called off even during an intense lightning storm. The creepy factor was excellent, but another ghost to report due to a lightning strike wouldn't have done a thing for me!
Instead of the gushy overly spiritual slant, we would have preferred a more analytical approach to enable us to reach our own conclusions...the ghost appeared in that upstairs window, she fell down the stairs and died here on this spot...that sort of thing.
The historic Annapolis setting is well-suited for an excellent ghost tour...this just wasn't it! |

| Very entertaining and spooky enough to engage the adults without scaring the kids!
We enjoyed it very much and would do it again if ever in Annapolis again. |

| We had a really fantastic time on our Ghost Tour of Historic Annapolis. Our tour guide, Carolyn, was awesome. She was enthusiastic, knowledgeable, animated, and entertaining. Having lived in Maryland all my life and spent quite a bit of time in Annapolis, I had never heard the stories that Carolyn was able to pass along. The tour added to the deep appreciation I have for the city of Annapolis. I would highly recommend this tour to friends or family. |

| It was a nice tour of downtown Annapolis and all of its buildings, however, the tour guide did not provide enough historical information about the hauntings or the buildings themselves. She tried to scare us and tell us too many stories about a boy she had another tour with his mother and this boy had a tape recorder and the tape recorder supposedly had voices of the persons haunting the buildings. The tour guide knew very little about the history of the invidiuals who are haunting the various locations and why they are haunting. It was very awkard at the end also, when I guess she was anticipating a tip, however the others in our tour group did not tip at the end because it was so awkard. That was not an enjoyable moment, I would not recommend this tour to anyone. |

| This was one of the best ghost tours I've been on. Our group turned the 9pm regular tour into a pub crawl, but I definitely saw more than I bargained for. I got pictures of orbs and even some very unexplainable images of people in windows and doorways. Always take pictures! Your never know what you'll find. |

| We're always going to different towns and checking out their ghost tours. We knew we were going to be in Annapolis for the day so we decided to see if they had any ghost tours available (being a 300 year old town and all.) Much to our excitment and surprise they did. Victoria was our ghostly guide that evening just finishing up her day job as a mild, mannered historical tour guide for Annapolis. She was entertaining and her stories were intriguing and spooky. Annapolis is one of the most beautiful cities in the nation and also has an incredibly eerie vibe at night. Although our tour was suppose to be 90 minutes Victoria answered all of our questions and gave us an extra long evening, finishing just short of 2½ hours. I would highly recommend this experience for anyone interested in the spirit world or just for a lovely walk through the amazing streets of Annapolis. |

| Mixed review on the Annapolis ghost tour.
Tour guide was at times too goofy and melodramatic, which eliminated the scariness of the stories. She also often repeated similar phrases at different sites. In many locations, her odd inflections were distracting and could not be heard and some parts of the stories were missed by many.
It seems the tour needs more research for many of the stories. Some of her reactions seemed amateurish and false.
More time was needed for photo-taking and less time for the high scool dramatics. Definitely less time on how previous tour groups thought this or that was scary. Nix all stories on that little boy and the evps.
On the other hand, she knew quite a bit about certain sites and when not acting goofy, she was very personable and informative.
All in all the tour had a few scary parts and a few interesting stories. It could be phenomenal with a few changes in presentation and beefing up the research on stories. |

| We liked the concept and enjoyed ourselves at first, but the tour ran too long. Our guide tried too hard to get us to believe, rather than just entertaining us with a bit of history and local tales. Would have preferred less pictures of ghosts and orbs and more entertaining stories. |
