| This was a fun way to spend the evening after Halloween. The tour guide was great; very informative and interactive with the group, and everyone was very friendly. I would suggest, if at all possible, going on a night when there is a small group, as some of the areas could get a little crowded. But all in all, well worth it. | ||||||

| when you pay for something and it gets rained out (and seems to begin a few minutes early), regardless of "policy", it's tough to not feel ripped. i for one would sure like to see tickets that hold their value across several possible dates, until used. maybe that's uncommon, but what a neat, neat way to really rise above the normal crappiness of the dog-eat-dog dc area. | ||||||

| Our guide was a rich and experienced story teller! The tour as a whole is a wonderful combination of folk lore, urban legend and history. | ||||||

| The tour kept a good pace and wasn't too large. The stories at each location were great. The guide answered any questions and was friendly. We'll try the haunted pub crawl next time. | ||||||

| We did this tour on Halloween night. It was misting and dark and that added to the mood. The tales were neat and our son absorbed some history and had fun while doing it. Kate, our guide, was great! | ||||||

| Annapolis is a beautifull town with much history and had a great time with the tour. I would like to do it agian in another area of town and would also like to go into some of the historic buildings. Was a very enjoyable and informative activity and will recommend it to others. | ||||||

| We had fun on the tour. The only recommendation would be to provide some form of food (pretzels, peanuts, etc.). We were a little hungry by the end of the tour, but the pub where we ended had stopped serving . | ||||||

| we've done city tours in several other cities and this was not good. When you are in a city for the first time its nice to get a good tour . This one went to 4 or five locations, other tours comparable 16 to 24 in the same two hour period. The stories were not that interesting. Considering that this is such of a historical area we thought it could be much better. | ||||||

| Our group made an entire evening in Annapolis of the Ghost Tour. Starting with dinner at the Middleton and ending with drinks at the Treaty of Paris. The walking tour was a nice experience and was both entertaining and informative. We will be making this a yearly event. | ||||||

| The stories were ok, although considering the history of annapolis, I kind of expected a bit more. Also, there was not much said to indicate where all the information came from, which left me wondering how accurate the stories really were. | ||||||

Not scary at all, stories were boring

| I've been on several waking ghost tours in different cities, I thought the one we did last year in Gettysburg was kind of boring, but this one took the prize. Annapolis is a beautiful town and it was a great evening for a stroll around town, but these stories seemed especially boring and our guide seemed to drag them out forever. Example: When telling the tale of the lady ghost in the Annapolis Inn, our guide gave details of how the lady looked around, how she talked, what she said to the other people in the hotel...etc. Yeah, like anyone knows what a person back in the 1700's said in a conversation. Endless little details like that just seemed to make the stories drag on for no point. It wasn't a totally unpleasant evening; it's just not what I expected. I was hoping for dark, spooky, scary tales and what we ended up getting were long winded historical tales. At least it was a pleasant walk through the streets of Annapolis, but if I had to do it again, I'd just save the $40 and walk through the streets of Annapolis on our own. | ||||||

A pleasant walk with an inexperienced storyteller

| There are definitely worse ways to spend 90 minutes than wandering the lovely streets of Annapolis on an autumn night, but the barely-out-of-her-teens guide wearing flipflops and too many piercings didn't create even a moment of spookiness. For $20 apiece, I'd have liked someone who could tell a good ghost story. I'll try the other ghost tour company next time. | ||||||

Ghost tour of Annapolis

| Brought my daughter as she had been wanting to go. We are both "ghost enthusiasts" and wanted to learn a bit more about Annapolis' history; naturally, hearing about Maryland's prominent (and lesser-known) ghosts was a great draw. It's a good historical tour, with lots of good stories about the "people" of Annapolis who haven't quite left! While we brought our own flashlight it would be prudent for the guide to bring a lantern or flashlight so that darker areas (esp. around the State House, the church across from Reynolds Tavern, as well as some of the darker side streets) are better iilluminated for those following behind him/her. Given .those uneven sidewalks and streets throughout town, it can be a little precarious if participants are of unsure footing! While it was fun to have the imagination run a bit in the days leading up to Halloween, I would have enjoyed going into some of these spots. Our starting point, the Maryland Inn, wasn't open to the group. Given its riveting, ghostly past, who knows who we might have bumped into? It surely would have set the tone, and you probably would have been looking over your shoulder all evening! | ||||||
