Interesting Historical tour with an ghostly twist

| We met our tour guide, Katy, on Monday evening 10/19/09 at the Maryland Inn - this was very convienent for my husband and myself since we were staying there. The tour was everything we expected, and it was fun to walk around the city at night and find out about the resident ghosts. It was on the tour that we learned the Maryland Inn was haunted. We learned quite a lot about the city and the buildings included on the tour and Katy did an excellent job. My only regret was that we did not get to the Sly Fox to see if the ghost would pick my husband that night! I highly recommend this tour. It is exciting, interesting and provides a new perspective on the lifestyle of older times! Next time we come, we'll try to work in the haunted pub crawl which were predominately weekend scheduling. Would I take this tour again? Certainly! | ||||||

| The tour was interesting. Lots of annapolis historical sites were included in the tour. This is an adult activity, kids would probably be bored by the history lesson. By the way......we did see a woman peering from a window at the Brice house. IT"S A VACANT HOUSE!!!!!! | ||||||

| This was our family's first trip to Annapolis and first ghost tour. It rained, not sprinkled, our entire day and night in Annapolis. We took the tour on a rainy, 40 degree evening. We all enjoyed the tour and would like to do it again in better weather conditions. | ||||||

| We had a very cold, and rainy evening for our ghost tour. While this added some ambiance to the evening it caused some changes in how our tour was conducted. We spent an added amount of time indoors listening to the stories and less time walking to all the sites mentioned. We enjoyed the stories and when we felt the chill up our spine we didn't know if it was the weather or the story! | ||||||

| The weather prevented me from attending and I would not recommend buying tickets if weather is a factor because the price is non-refundable. | ||||||

| The haunted pub crawl was an enjoyable to spend a rainy evening. Since it was boat show weekend, we unfortunately did not stop at the usual haunts for this tour and I think it would have been a little better if we had done it a different weekend. Two of the 3 pubs we stopped at had no haunted tales of their own but she told us ghost stories of nearby buildings. Despite that everyone in our group of six enjoyed themselves. | ||||||

| The tour was ok, the guide was good & a great story-teller... I think it was nice, but not that scary & we definitely had trouble hearing. The public was loud, which made it hard to understand what the guide was saying. Also, if we could have seen more of the establishments we visited, that would have made it more interesting. Instead, we just listened to the story for each place in one spot, then moved on. Also, no time alotted after each story to take pictures. If we wanted to do that, we had to wait to do on our own time. | ||||||

| I really enjoyed the tour. Having been to others this one really stood out, maybe because there was plenty of material to work from! The tour guide did a great job, unfortunately I was staying in one of the haunted hotels and was too afraid to go to sleep that night!! It was definitely entertaining. | ||||||

| I had wanted to do this for awhile, and finally there was a time that a group of people could go. The guide was funny, knowledgeable, and a good storyteller! I learned a lot about Annapolis and the history of the area - that alone was worth the time and money. The ghost stories were definitely amusing, as well. | ||||||

| Our guide didn't have control of the group. Very disorganized when we arrived at our first bar (Flying Fox -- Great Bar). Sent us to get our own drinks, after 20 minutes told the "story" over a loud singer/guaitar that was there. Should've had a separate place to tell stories or told on the walk to the graveyard. I would suggest looking up a few bars on your own (Flying Fox, Ramshead, Annapolis Inn) and taking your own guided tour. My husband and I left this tour 1/2 way through. Needless to say we had our own great time in Annapolis, making fun of this tour and finding our own way! Save your money for drinks :-) | ||||||

| My husband and I have a newborn at home and needed a date night out. I booked the walking ghost tour for something different to do. We both really enjoyed it! Our tour guide was witty, funny and entertaining. It was a small group (7 of us) which I prefer. I definitely recommend this for anyone who is tired of the same old same old. | ||||||

| I wanted to do something different to surprise my boyfriend on his birthday. He loved it... It was not to much walking but still a great outdoors/indoors activity. Drinks were kind of expensive if you wanted to drink at every bar. I would have probably done the other tour if i could go back cus getting drinks took up some of the time. BUT the tour was still really great. Im not much of a drinker, i guess if i had been i would have enjoyed the pub crawl part of it more. My boy friend and i had a great time. Our guide was knowable. She was not corny or silly, she told the ghost stories from a historical point of view which we really liked. This is a more education ghost tour then scary ghost tour. I have seen some other tours around town in customs and stuff, this tour seemed cooler cus they didn’t dress up in hooky outfits. Our tour guide (I think her name was amy, or becky) seemed more like she was a really cool friend hanging out with us and telling us stories. Which was nice cus we didn’t feel weird being on some sort of tour around town. | ||||||

| I would recommend it to people going to the area. The first pub was noisy & it was difficult to hear the Ghost Stories. Some of the pubs took a long time to serve everyone in the group. The Ghost Stories were interesting, so I would recommend it. Note: The last pub had a mouse that ran in and out of a hole in the wall, in the room where we heard the story. | ||||||
