Annapolis Tours & Crawls

We had a great tour guide and the tour was very informative and fun. We learned a lot about local history and the ghosts who roam the area. I would recommend this tour for anyone looking for something to do on a date or just to learn about Annapolis and it's history.

We enjoyed the way the guide entertained with the ghost stories, yet wove some history into them.

although i have lived in maryland my whole life i have never been to annopolis. This trip was not just my first time, but actually everyone i was with, it was their first time going down there aswell. The weather was beautiful and the town charming. I enjoyed the tour we went on very much. our tour guide had a lot of information to share about hauntings and general annapolis history. i would definatly do the tour again, but i think i would choose the pub crawl just so i can see the inside of these really neat old buildings. for a young group like us we made a night of it, the haunted tour was first, then came dinner, and finally we hit the bars. our night out in annapolis was all in all a great time the hour drive was worth it.

We really liked the ghost tour and will do it again. Unfortunately, it rained constantly, which prevented us from doing a lot of "touring". I'm looking forward to doing it again in fair weather. Our guide knew lots of local legends and it seemed that she had a fun time directing us. Some of the pubs we visited were very crowded because it was Friday. I'd probably recommend doing the tour on a weeknight when there are less people in and around the pubs.

I thought this tour was fun. The presenter was a good story-teller. However, it is a little pricey for the length and what you actually get. We went with a group of 5 friends. We each paid $20/ticket. There were no drink specials for the tour. We each bought a round of drinks ($30 each). It ends up being an expensive 2 hour ghost tour with about 3 stops/3 stories. I don't think I will do the tour again.

Our group had cadette girl scouts with their moms. We went on a night that unfortunately was very rainy. We had trouble hearing our guide. She was very bothered by the rain and cut the tour short after one hour. No one objected because everyone was soaked. The tour was completely outside and the guide told stories outside the buildings where the ghostly events occurred. This type of tour is completely dependent on the storytelling ability of the guide. I would say that our guide was average. She did not tell a compelling story. This was compounded by the difficulty in hearing her. I think the company should have provided some type of amplification or rescheduled the tour.

The haunted pub crawl was not scary at all. The stories our tour guide told were unclear and had no point. Mostly she talked about crazy things people did on her other tours rather than telling us stories about ghosts. Our guide also started off by saying, at the beginning of the tour, that there were no REAL ghost in Annapolis; this ruined the mood from there on out. The tour did not go to any creepy or interesting places; and my friends and I were bored a lot of the time. Don't wast your money.

My husband and I contacted for Ghost Tour tix in the middle of the week and asked to be notified by Friday if we were or were not going to be part of the tour. Friday afternoon as we are walking out the door for our weekend in Annapolis, we had still not heard. I had to call and "re-register" for our tix. They had my email address and a cell phone number and still did not contact us by Friday. I had already entered all information via the internet and then had to start all over which was inconvenient. Of course the representative was very nice, apologized and accomidated me, but if I had not called prior to leaving for our trip I would still be waiting to hear about tickets. Other than the ticket problem, the only other draw back was that the tour consisted of 40 adults and children, which made it hard to hear at times, but overall the ghost tour was very interesting and full of local history. It was very nice for the tour guide to allow extra time for picture taking and recording of our ghostly friends before moving onto the next location! I would recommend this tour without reservation! We expected a pub crawl. We got lots of rumination regarding possible ghost related stories and not much in the way of pub crawling. Pictures were a joke compared to the story.

It was great walking around historic Annapolis and looking at the homes. As far as the "ghost" tour was concerned - it was just stories of hauntings ( which some were interesting). We had a very large group & was sometimes difficult to hear what the guide was saying. We had never been on a ghost tour - so really didn't know what to expect. I did think we would be able to go inside the buildings-so that was a little disappointing. The kids however, were bored.

this tour was nothing short of a disappointment. our guide failed to take us to any actual haunted locations, instead opting to use "haunted" buildings as a backdrop as she told nonsensical stories, often times with no start or finish. out guide was unenthusiastic, boring, and the tour seemed to go on forever.

This was our 4th ghost tour (first time in Annapolis). We enjoyed it very much. My daughter is 6 years -- I felt it was suitable for someone her age if the child does not scare too easily. I definately recommend this tour.

We enjoyed listening to the stories, but the pubs were way too crowded. Could hardly get a drink in time to sit and listen to the stories. Plus, it was hard to hear over the noise of the pub crowd. However, it was Navy Homecoming weekend, so that made it worse. No fault of the tour guide. I think a tour off the beaten path would have been better.

I had a lot of fun on the tour. I really enjoy hearing about true ghost stories. I was somewhat disappointed that I did not see or experience any supernatural activities but I still think the tour was a lot of fun. I am still waiting for my cousin to develop our pictures so I am hoping that we captured some orbs or ghostly images. All in all I think it was a great activity to do with a group of people. In fact, I am looking forward to doing the haunted pub crawl next year.

We really enjoyed this tour. Our Guide, Carolyn, was very knowledgable, and she had a great way of telling the stories. It was a perfect October night, with a slight bite to the air, and it was very eerie to walk along in the dark hearing about the ghosts of Annapolis. What was especially creepy was that myself and others in the group actually got some pictures of orbs, and even faces in the windows of the haunted houses. This was more than we had signed up for! If you are skeptical about ghosts, then this is the tour for you: you will change your mind!
