Annapolis Tours & Crawls

I really enjoyed the enthusiasm of our guide (Carolyn or Carol, I believe). Although an Annapolis resident, I learned a lot more about the history, architecture, and legends of the city. Our group was the right number of people to walk around town and hear our guide's interesting stories.

It was very interesting to hear the stories about the buildings I have lived and worked by my entire life. Our hostess was very animated and a good story teller. I would recommend this tour.

This tour was both fun and educational - we locals learned so much more about Annapolis. I would heartily recommend it!

It was a very enjoyable evening. The history and stories were enlightening and very interesting. Everyone in our group said they would love to attend another tour. Great job and we loved our guide.

This was a blast! Our guide was fabulous; the pubs were historic and fun, and we learned A LOT about the history of the area. Our guide made this a very special and fun night, as we were celebrating my daughter's 21st birthday. I would highly recomend this tour! I can't wait to do it again!!!

We had a wonderful time even with the soggy weather. Our group of five included two adults, one young adult and two teenagers. The two teenagers think they felt a spirit in the graveyard. Several of us think we saw a ghost in one on the windows at the last house. Our guide made the experience very enjoyable, even though she had to wait for fire engines several times before she could continue!

When a group of people pays money to go on a pub crawl they are there to have some drinks. Before we could even pay we were told we needed to drink fast. We were at the meeting spot 15 minutes before the tour started and as far as I can tell the other group of people was too. The tour guide was not very nice even though she was a good storyteller. If the tour takes more time make it longer don't rush the group. It was not as if the others in the group felt differently as we knew them and we asked them!

I didn't go as it was raining sideways and terribly windy last saturday. I couldn't do 90 minutes in that weather. Sad to lose $36.00!

I was with a large group of "students" all in town for a military course for our new jobs (we don't know each other well). This event was fun for those of us really interested in hearing about the ghosts and those of us just out for the night. The guide wasn't pushy. We got to see many pubs we would have never found on our own. The guide kept her stories brief and very fun! We learned some history, some ghost stories, had a ton of fun and bonded with our classmates! We took the tour on Friday and haven't stopped talking about it yet!

Carolyn was our guide and we enjoyed her very much. We have had Carolyn as a guide prior for the Tavern Traipse, 2007. She is fantastic! She brings so much life to each activity and is very theatrical which helps get everyone in the spirit of the night. Carolyn brings the group together with her charm and enthusiasm. Though this is a ghost walk, I learned many interesting historical facts that made it even more special for me. It is a fun activity for adults and children alike.

I was hosting relatives from Western Maryland while on this tour and I had my two teenager nephews with me. While one exclaimed he was skeptical throughout the tour, he did ask me to sleep on the couch next to him all weekend. As a local, I especially enjoyed hearing about the history of Annapolis, aka "Naptown", and the young men with me enjoyed the ghost stories. I will be taking other nieces and nephews on this tour when they come to visit.

The haunted pub crawl was not scary at all. The stories our tour guide told were unclear and had no point. Mostly she talked about crazy things people did on her other tours rather than telling us stories about ghosts. Our guide also started off by saying, at the beginning of the tour, that there were no REAL ghost in Annapolis; this ruined the mood from there on out. The tour did not go to any creepy or interesting places; and my friends and I were bored a lot of the time. Don't wast your money.

We had a small goup on a Saturday night. Our guide was very informative and educated on the topic. The places we visited were very historic. The drinks certainly made it more entertaining. Our guide stayed longer than what was originally planned, but I felt she enjoyed herself. We were able to take lots of pictures of the beautiful scenary that Annapolis has to offer.

This was actually a ton of fun. I highly recommend it. B

Our group of four was met by very nice and helpful staff. three other couples joined for the tour and we enjoyed the stories, the walk and interacting with the other guests. Our guide was very enthusiastic with her stories and very informative. we asked questions along the way and found the tour to be very interesting and fun to find out information about the city that you would not normally hear about. Looking forward to the Haunted Pub tour next !
