Annapolis Tours & Crawls

Carolyn was awesome. She displayed a great knowledge of Colonial Annapolis as well as being a spooky storyteller. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour and would do it again in a heartbeat!

This was the 4th ghost tour we have taken. Two in St. Augustine, and one in Charleston. We have taken numerous pictures without even the hint of anything unusual. We got several pictures with orbs while on this tour, and in a series of pictures, we captured what looks like a curtain being moved in an empty house. Our tour guide Carolyn, was very knowledgable, not just about the ghost stories, but also the history of the entire area. The drinks we sampled at the various Pubs weren't bad either.

My family and I travelled to Annapolis over the Labor Day weekend. While we were there we decided to take in some of the sights, and chose the Ghost Tour as that did not conflict with our other plans. The group that assembled was just about right, about a dozen or so. The meeting place was easy to find. The tour itself moved along at a fairly good clip, but that did leave more time at the places where we stopped. The tour was structured very well, with several places to see. The only thing that I wish there was more of was a little more history of the places that we stopped at would have been helpful. All in all it was a very entertaining evening.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our walk through historic Annapolis hearing about the different hauntings. I, however, would have loved more interactivity. Meaning... if you are talking about a ghost that appears in a window, actually have something subtle happen in the window. Give people more of a scare. Besides that, we had fun. Our guide (a woman who's name I can't remember) added a nice, creepy touch to the evening.

The woman giving the tour gave out little factual/historic infomation; but was big on drama. It could have been better

The tour was interesting. The stories were entertaining and I liked that a history of the buildings was provided as well.

Our guide was a lot of fun and knew the history as well as the stories! We learned a lot and even saw some strage phenomena!

We didn't enjoy the tour as much as we would have liked. We were expecting to visit actual ghosts...instead it was more story-telling which was not what we expected. I think if the description had been more specific, we would have had more realistic expectations and thus not been disappointed.

Definetly worth the money, loads of fun for all ages, we had a 21st birthday group and it was great- if you are into ghost stories this is a tour for you.

I really enjoyed this ghost tour. It was kind of long though, almost two hours. The guide was a bit crazy, but definitely a good storyteller. She really believed all the ghost stories and told them as if her primary goal was to teach us (but she also succeeded in entertaining us). My only problem with the tour is that the guide had the entire group recite a spell to protect us from "evil spirits"... and I was not OK with that for religious reasons. But overall, it was cool.

Our guide had a tough crowd to lead about. They were there for the beer, not the stories. The guide provided pictures to support some of her stories. She was quite entertaining, too! We enjoyed this tour and recommend it for folks with an open mind for the supernatural and for a taste of a good brew or whiskey.

We enjoyed the ghost tour very much. Cheryl was a great guide. She was very knowledgeable and very enthusiastic - we completely enjoyed the evening. All four of us were very pleased with the whole experience. I would do it again.

Great way to see the area... Kids both 11 loved it!!!

The tour company made a mistake and did not schedule a tour guide for our group, however, they called a tour guide in after the mistake was realized, and she showed up ready to tour us around after only 20 minutes or so. Therefore, our tour started about 30 minutes late, but was not a big deal to any of us. The tour guide, Carolyn, was excellent!! She told great stories, and really captivated our interest for the entire tour. If you go on this tour, I recommend that you request Carolyn as your tour guide, you won't be disappointed!

The tour wasn't "scary" so to speak but it was interesting hearing about the history, and the guide was very entertaining. I would recommend anyone for this tour, locals or visitors. It was well worth the time taking our out of town guests on it.
