Activity Description
Join us for a journey through the Olde Towne of Clinton and learn all about the town's rich history and diverse attractions.

Begin your tour by familiarizing yourself with your Segway. After a short safety video, our experienced guides will teach you how to use this unique and fun mode of transportation, and then we're off!

At each stop on the tour, your guide will play a professionally recorded narrative on an amplified iPod, enabling you to hear and enjoy stories and commentaries about the featured sites. Olde Towne Clinton abounds with folklore revealing the life and times of a bygone era.

Sites you will visit include:

• Public Square (preserved to house the State Capitol)
• Site of the Clinton Spring Hotel
• Turn of the century homes
• Antebellum homes
• Original Natchez Trace
• Occupation areas of the Union Soldiers
• General Sherman's headquarters
• Mississippi's oldest college
• Union Army Hospital and Livery Stables
• The Public Spring
