| I used this opportunity to propose to my girlfriend of four years. Before we arrived I was contacted by an employee who gave me detail ofs the entire gondola ride and best places to propose. They had arranged with the gondalier to stop at a very lovely spot. I was also pleased when I asked the accordian player to video tape the proposal and she did a fantastic job.
The gondolier and accordian player offered to be very quiet for us during the trip but being tourists we had many questions to ask and they answered everyone of them. It was quite a memorable trip and I we will do it again every couple years. We went out at nine o'clock in July and I definately recommend going out at either 8:30pm or 9pm because the first 20 minutes is beautiful in the light but once you get out past the bridges the city is amazing in the dark. |

| This was an absolutely wonderful and unforgettable experience. Our original tour got cancelled 2x due to rain, but they were more than accommodating and when we finally went it was unbelievable - so beautiful and peaceful... we did the tour right at sunset - there were no other boats on the water and the view of the Boston skyline was breathtaking. It was quiet, peaceful and the accordian player was the icing on the cake. On that river at dusk with just a lantern in the front of the boat and the view of the city...It was as if the whole world had stopped for this newly wed couple! ***Want a romantic time with that special someone - HIGHLY recommended! |

| We had such a wonderful time on our gondola ride! It was a surprise for my husband for our 10th anniversary, and we both enjoyed it so much. Everyone was lovely to us, and our gondolier, Stefano, was the best. They all made sure that we had a perfect trip. We always try to do something romantic for our anniversary every year, but this was the best one so far. We highly recommend it as a date for any couple. |

| My girlfriend and I recently took a gondola tour, and we had a great time. We've both lived in Massachusetts for quite some time and had taken several ferry boat rides on the Charles. But nothing compares to the beauty and serenity of taking a tour in a gondola. We took a tour at 8pm, and watched the tail end of the sunset. It is so peaceful on the Charles! We brought along a bottle of champagne, which was a nice complement to the cheese/crackers/strawberries/chocolates they provided us. Stefano (our gondalier) made us feel comfortable and welcome from the start, and made the experience great. Our accordian player was equally amazing and provided the perfect soundtrack to the trip. Even if you've been on ferry rides on the Charles, the gondola tour is not to miss. It's a totally different experience! |

| At sunset, this is very romantic. My husband & I were treated very well. Marco and the accordian player were very professional. The music was fabulous. He even played "Smoke on the Water" since it is one of our sons favorites. My favorite was
" That's Amour". It sounded just like my grandmother's record I used to listen to as a child. The strawberries, Italian biscuits, drinks, cheese & crackers tasted absolutely wonderful. I will remember the Gondola ride for a lifetime. Our thanks and gratitude to the staff for a wonderful expeirence. |

| When we first arrived, we had about 15 minutes to wait for the previous ride to return. We were greeted by our gondolier, he made us feel very welcomed and helped us with our wine and questions. Once we entered the gondola, both our gondolier and Marlena (?) made us comfortable, took our pictures and made the ride totally enjoyable....and what a great accordionist, not only played romantic Italian and Parisian songs but sang in Italian and French.
I have and will continue to recommend this as the greatest gift for your loved one's birthday, anniversary or just a great date. I will give this as a gift to our friends for their upcoming anniversaries and I look forward to the fall harvest themed ride.
Many thanks for the best secret in Boston (only found the ride when I was searching for something to do on the internet). Had no idea they had been around for 8 years already.....
Strongly recommend and highly endorse.....
Thank you.... |

| I scheduled this as a birthday surprise for my wife while we were in Boston. I grabbed a bottle of very nice champagne out of the hotel, which she seemed a bit confused over, and we headed towards the charles river where the gondola tour started. She was very shocked to see a guy in a striped shirt, an accordion player, and a gondola waiting for us. The staff was very courteous and professional.
I figured out sunset for that particular day, and scheduled the tour accordingly. Yeah, im a geek, but it really paid off. The views were great, and the weather was warm and sunny that day.
The food was good and fresh. flowers were fresh. It turned out it was her favorite kind of cheese and her favorite color of flowers, just by chance. I took credit for it, of course.
The entire atmosphere was very romantic. Couples pointed us out on our journey, with the girl saying something to the guy (probably the girl asking the guy why he wasn't taking her on a gondola), accompanied by random tourists taking our picture from the shore.
The only bad thing -- I didn't realize a few days after this tour -- is that this tour was supposed to include a picture of us. No one even mentioned it during our tour. I had our digital camera and performed a couple self portraits by holding the camera at a distance at ourselves, but it would have been nice if someone was there to do it for us.
I think the bellissimo is well worth the money. Do it right and get the full package for that special someone. Its well worth it. |

| This was one of the best things I've done since moving to Boston in 2004! The staff were very friendly and funny, and they set the mood for a relaxing evening! :) |
