Il Bacio - Our standard gondola tour!

I took my boyfriend on this tour for his birthday and had a great time. The people were so friendly and the atmosphere was romantic- but not cheesy. As a college student I was a little hesitant of the price but it was worth every penny.

I suprised my boyfriend of one year on a romantic date and he very much enjoyed it. He is not the type to organise suprises so he was very suprised when we got there and he realised what we were doing, he never heard of them in boston. We live in Quincy so it was nice just to go so close to something that felt so far away from Boston, for a one hour ride. It was so peaceful and just so romantic. I highly recommend it to couples or it would even be a beautiful gift for someone.

When my wife and I visited Venice several years ago, we passed on the obligatory gondola tour. People warned us that it would be too touristy, a rip off, and an overall disappointment. Looking back, we wished we had gone on a gondola anyways. So when I found out about the gondola tours in Boston I was intrigued, but not overly optimistic. However, I was pleasantly surprised. In short, we both enjoyed the evening ride very much. The employees could not have been more accomodating, and the boat is extremely comfortable. I would recommend this tour to any couple looking for a romantic evening, or for those looking for a relaxing excursion.

We were warmly greeted by the gondoliers and they attended to our needs and safety. Everything was thoroughly explained to us, along with explaining about Gondolas and their history. We were celebrating my 40th birthday, and it was a great way to enjoy the scenery of Boston, sit back and relax with some wine and goodies, along with listening to some soothing music. It was a a special event that we will always remember. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to celebrate something special, or just to enjoy time with a special someone.

I couldn't even begin to describe how great of an experience we had from beginning to end. Everything from the liaison and the gift basket to the ride itself was magnificent. I can't recommend this enough!

The gondola was perfect in every sense. I have highly recommended it to many friends. I wil be booking another trip very soon.

We are from the Boston area and loved our gondola ride on The Charles. We had seen the boats for several years and decided we'd like to take a ride. It was peaceful and interesting, and our boat person was good enough to be quiet and allow us to enjoy the experience. They were on time, polite, helpful and the ride was a delight from beginning to end.
