Il Bacio - Our standard gondola tour!

The sunset ride on the gondola afforded us a serene break from the city activities which had kept us on the go since our arrival in Boston. The gondelier was very personable, yet unintrusive on our quiet time. The view of the city from the water at dusk was an interesting experience. The gondola ride enhanced a very enjoyable visit to Boston and was a great addition to our vacation.

I ordered the gondola ride as a surprise birthday present and it was absolutely perfect! We left the lagoon shortly after 10:00 pm and after a delightful chat with our helmsman, Charles, we enjoyed a gorgeous leisurely trip out onto the Charles River where we marveled at the beautiful Boston city lights and the various magnificent reflections on the water. The weather was perfect and sipping wine and enjoying the provided snack of cheese, crackers and chocolates added to a wonderful experience for both of us. It will be tough to top this gift next year......maybe I'll just book another gondola ride! :)

We decided to do this tour with my boyfriend and I absolutely love it. The gondola is beautiful and well maintained. Also, the gondolier was nice and courteous. Just check the weather before planning it, I know New England weather can be hard to predict but the tour is fantastic in a sunny day.

I overheard a previous customer talk about the Gondola ride. I have been in Boston all my life and never heard of it. I checked it out online and decided to book it for me and my wife and another couple. the ride was smooth, the gondolier Marco was informative and easy to talk to. The cheese and crackers along with the strawberries and chocolate provided by the gondolier was a perfect companion to the wine we brought on board. the wives enjoyed the trip and as a result the husbands did too. will do this activity again.

The Gondola ride was a memorable experience, but I still feel the price was a little steep. My reservation was from 5:30 to 6:20; it ended 10 minutes before sunset. I highly reccommend going during sunset or later. There is still too much activity around the Esplanade during the light hours and it makes for a lot of staring and pointing at the gondola. Night time is always more romantic anywyas! Make sure to bring a great wine for the evening, and also a warm sweater if the weather is brisk; it is alwasy 10-15 degrees colder on the water. Overall a great experience, but I would only do it once.

These guys did a great job. Seeing Boston at night like this is wonderful, sure to be a big hit on a special night.

8:30, dusk, beautiful weather, not another sole on the Charles, and the perfect time to be with your wife. It was the conclusion of a special anniversary, dinner at the Taj (Bar facing Public Garden), walk along the esplanade and a surprise gondola ride.

This is a MUST-DO for Bostonians and visitors, alike. An amazing way to see one of the most beautiful parts of the city and to be amongst the sailboats with wine, cheese and gorgeous Itaian music is magical. Everyone would love this!

I highly recommend the evening gondola rides -- extremely fun, exciting, romantic and comfortable!

The gondola was perfect in every sense. I have highly recommended it to many friends. I wil be booking another trip very soon.
