We had been to Venice a year ago and of course took a gondola ride. This year we were not able to return to Venice so our Daughter gave us the gift certificate to ride the gondola in the Charles river. The weather was perfect and the ride was very enjoyable for us.

Relaxing Ride

Enjoy the ride and conversation. The weather was beautiful and the gondola ride was fantastic. Just enough time to put the feet up, take in the scenery and relax. Highly recommend and evening tour - we started in the early evening while still light and at the conclusion of our ride, it had just begun to get dark. We saw the river banks and city lighting up the evening skies.

The tour took us out of the city while we were in the heart of it. Truly first class, for any age! Kick back and relax while snacking on cheese, crackers, and chocoloates and enjoying the feeling of being spoiled for the hour.

We did not get to take our ride the evening of our reservation because of thunderstorms and windy conditions on the Charles. Your operations manager called to cancel. We plan to re-schedule our tour after Labor Day and we look forward to it.

The gondola tour was unbelievable. I took my wife as a surprise for our wedding anniversary and she loved it. Eveything was perfect and I highly recommend it for all couples looking to do something original.

Our gondola ride was very nice and relaxing. The recorded music of Andrea Bocceli singing on the background, was a great idea and nice addition to the ride. While being on gondola, going under the little brides, and looking at a beautiful view of the Charles River and the ciry skyline, we , for moment , forgot we were in Boston. This ride reminded us a woderful time we had once in Venice , Italy! We 're thinkiing of taking the gondola ride again , but in the evening time, to watch a beautiful sunset!

Peaceful, lovely way to spend time in Boston

I surprised my husband with a gondola ride for our 32nd wedding anniversary. He loved it and so did I. Our gondolier was elegant and graceful and the ride was so peaceful and relaxing -- first in the Charles River canal and then out on the river with spectacular views of the bridges and the city. We live in a neighborhood of Boston -- Jamaica Plain -- and love the city . Now we have seen it from a wholly new vantage point. We brought a bottle of champagne and the gondolier supplied ice bucket, the glasses and a lovely basket of cheese and crackers. We opted for the basic tour without the accordian player but with very nice recorded music instead. We thought it was perfect and would definitely do it again -- maybe with friends this autumn on the harvest moon trip.
