Mezza Luna - Back by popular demand!

This is a great change of pace for tourists and also longtime Bostonians who want a fun, romantic experience in the Hub.

This was a great experience; I took my boyfriend to Boston for the weekend and this really made the trip very special. Everyone was extremely pleasant and helpful and they treated you like royalty. There was nothing that I would have changed about this tour. if you are looking for the all time romantic thing to do in Boston this is it.

My partner and I went on the tour on the day of our wedding to get away from our families and friends for a bit before the ceremony. The accordionist was amazing (my partner and I are also musicians, so we were definitely listening closely to her) and the tour was just fantastic. I told them when I reserved it that it was our wedding day, and the staff greeted us with roses and congratulations. They were very enthusiastic and welcoming toward us. The ride is very private; we almost forgot there were other people on the boat. During mid-day there were other people watching and photographing the boat from on-shore, but no one was obnoxious or anything. Highly recommended.

I had seen the Gondola while at the Esplanade with my boyfriend. We wanted somthing different and new for my mother's 70th birthday. We took her and my father and they loved it! They want to return, and I'm sure we will! -Nancy p.s. Also: A friend at work said she had given someone a gift certificate to this tour. What a great idea, I'll keep it in mind!

A a guy in the start or a relationship, this was a very romantic date. The staff is very professional and extemely friendly. The trip is perfect at night with a small candle for a great setting for a kiss. I highly recommend this tour.

We had some glitches in scheduling, as the gondola people and Zerve had doublebooked for the same time slot. However, that was straightened out and Joseph (gondola person) was very apologetic and good at communicating in phone calls, to straighten out the problem. The idea in general of a gondola ride is a great one; the location is the downfall, which the gondola company cannot really control. We were promised a very romantic ride. However, as far out as we went, we could still hear the big concert going on at the Hatch Shell, from where the gondolas depart and return, and 90% of the ride (it was on a Saturday night) we saw men relieving themselves on shore and police walking the shores and breaking up little clusters of people from which came the distinct smell of marijuana. A few times, people on shore called out to us, asking for a ride, so it did not end up being the romantic surprise I'd envisioned for my date. Also, we were booked for 50 minutes and Joseph had indicated that we'd receive a little longer ride, given the glitches in the beginning; however, from the time we left the dock to the time we returned, it was a total of 45 minutes, so we were actually shorted five minutes. All in all, it was a different experience and my date enjoyed the surprise - but, given the location and the activity of the locals, over which the gondola company has no control, do not expect it to be romantic, even with the accordian player/singer, champagne (I brought) and basket of goodies.

The gondola tour was amazing. From the first interaction with the gondalier entering the boat to saying our good-byes everything was great. We honeymooned in Venice and had some wonderful memories that we shared with Joe who knows alot about Venice and its culture. What a romantic was to spend your anniversary.

This was really fun and unique!

I would recommend this to anyone. I had expected it to be beautiful but it exceeded my expectations. The service was wonderful and the tour is something that I will never forget.
