Gondola di Venezia

I surprised my girlfriend on this tour at 9pm. The setting was perfect and they accommodated us very well. The Gondolier was excellent and the accordion player was awesome and not intrusive at all! I opted for the message in a bottle way to ask her to marry me, and it definitely worked! With flowers, a complimentary picture and commemorative wine glasses, they definitely went over the top to help make this night one never to forget. Boston at night is absolutely beautiful, and as we boarded right at dusk/ end of sunset, it make the most romantic ride. The Gondolier was very informative, but didn't talk too much. It was very private and if we had a question, they were eager to tell us the answer. Thank you!!

Although Caroline is afraid of water, Tony ( oarsman) put her at ease and she loved her time on the boat. The accordion player was very nice and professional and we had a great time. People at our after party had never heard or knew that the gondolas existed in Boston. I just wish the State or the DCR would get its act together and clean up the tidal basin area - a lot of trash. We both enjoyed the time and recommended it to our friends and family. Thank you

One if the best experiences I've had, even better because its right in our own back yard of Boston. The experience was great, our Gondolier as well as his daughter, accompanied by the accordionist made this 21st Anniversary one for the books. The information about the Gondola, the basket of goodies, the flowers and the photograph were well worth the money If your looking for a memorable date, look no further, it's the best My sincerest thanks!!! We decided to do this tour with my boyfriend and I absolutely love it. The gondola is beautiful and well maintained. Also, the gondolier was nice and courteous. Just check the weather before planning it, I know New England weather can be hard to predict but the tour is fantastic in a sunny day.

I reserved this boat ride as a surprise for my husband for his birthday. However, approximately 3 weeks prior to our tour, I had a family emergency. My mother had just been diagnosed with advanced small cell carcinoma lung cancer. It was serious and the Oncologist said we had very little time left. We headed to the midwest to be with her for her final days. She passed on while we were there and we stayed on for a couple of weeks to plan her funeral and spend some time with my brother. Before we left for the midwest, I emailed asking for a refund due to these extenuating circumstances. If refunds were not allowed even for extenuating circumstances(I understand policies are in place), I asked if we could reschedule, or at the very least, receive a refund for the "extras" I purchased of a picture and extending the gondola ride from 45 minutes to one hour. I never received an answer back. I am very dissatisfied and would not recommend this company to friends or family.

I booked this ride for me and boyfriend for our second anniversary. It was a beautiful experience. Everything from the wine to the flowers to gondolier was perfect. I highly recommend this to anyone...it's a perfect way to celebrate your relationship and a fun thing to do with your significant other.

The Gondola ride was very pleasant. The added accoutrements could have been better but we didn't really book the Gondola Tour for the snacks. I was proposing to my girlfriend and it couldn't have gone any better. The Gondolier and Accordion player were great and very accommodating. They didn't even make fun of me for crying as I was proposing. All in all, it was a good experience. Would definitely recommend to others.

I recently took my then girlfriend out on the gondola to propose to her. She is now my fiance and I cannot thank the people at Gondola di Venezia for making this special moment so special. We will never forget our day on the river and will be returning annually to revisit the moment. I would recommend this ride for any couple looking to have a special day to themselves, or for anyone looking for the perfect proposal spot.

Loved this treat for our wedding anniversary. Everyone involved was extremely friendly - the family clearly works well together to make this a unique, enjoyable experience for every customer. Recommending it to everyone we know!
