| My boyfriend got put on call Friday nite so I called on Saturday morning...talked to Joe and he happily offered me a gift certificate so we can enjoy the gondola in the spring. This was a delightful surprise because the website said no rescheduling.....I was so disappointed that we were unable to go Saturday nite, however, Joe was VERY professional and accommodating. I will tell everyone what a wonderful experience I had and I look forward to surprising my boyfriend in the spring with a romantic evening on the Charles with Peligrino (hopefully) serenading us!! Thanks, Joe!! | ||||||

| I had seen the Gondolas while on the esplanade. Then I heard about the Gondola operator through as reputable electrician I work with. I enjoyed the historical talk that the owner gave regarding the Gondolas. Still, I was blown away by the event of riding in it. The slow, steady pace and views of the city they afforded, and intimacy of the Gondola were a perfect combination to create a truly romantic and beautiful atmosphere. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a romantic experience. The word "romantic" is truly fitting for this ride. | ||||||

| What can I say--everything was perfect. I took my husband on a surprise gondola ride to celebrate his new job and he has been raving about it ever since. It was so relaxing and beautiful out there on the Charles River. The only problem is that we really didn't want to get off at the end of our ride! Indeed I'd recommend it to any and everyone, particularly those of you who are looking for a unique and romantic night out. My only recommendation would be to make sure that you leave yourselves enough time to find the location where you get on the gondolas. Each of the two gondolas can hold up to 6 people, so it would be a fun thing to do with a group of 12 or less as well. | ||||||

| When my wife and I visited Venice several years ago, we passed on the obligatory gondola tour. People warned us that it would be too touristy, a rip off, and an overall disappointment. Looking back, we wished we had gone on a gondola anyways. So when I found out about the gondola tours in Boston I was intrigued, but not overly optimistic. However, I was pleasantly surprised. In short, we both enjoyed the evening ride very much. The employees could not have been more accomodating, and the boat is extremely comfortable. I would recommend this tour to any couple looking for a romantic evening, or for those looking for a relaxing excursion. | ||||||

| We were warmly greeted by the gondoliers and they attended to our needs and safety. Everything was thoroughly explained to us, along with explaining about Gondolas and their history. We were celebrating my 40th birthday, and it was a great way to enjoy the scenery of Boston, sit back and relax with some wine and goodies, along with listening to some soothing music. It was a a special event that we will always remember. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to celebrate something special, or just to enjoy time with a special someone. | ||||||

| My husband and I have been married over 12 years and this was to celebrate my 40th birthday- What a wonderful experience- romantic and enjoyable. We will definately do it again next year- We have told all our family and friends- The music was excellent and our gondelier was so nice, intresting in explaining about our expereince and I got the best pictures of the ride and the city. THE BEST !!! | ||||||

| Taking a gondola ride on the Charles River in Boston may seem corny to some but it couldn't have been more delightful. From the incredible attention to detail to the wonderful staff, this is a perfect activity for any couple at any stage in their relationship. We plan to make it an annual date! | ||||||

| I had seen the Gondola while at the Esplanade with my boyfriend. We wanted somthing different and new for my mother's 70th birthday. We took her and my father and they loved it! | It was our 23rd anniversary and everything was perfect. Very professional, everything was there waiting for us after I had reserved online. Beautiful views of the shoreline and the city. Excellent accordion player. I would recommend this most luxorious tour for sure. | ||||||

| We had some glitches in scheduling, as the gondola people and Zerve had doublebooked for the same time slot. However, that was straightened out and Joseph (gondola person) was very apologetic and good at communicating in phone calls, to straighten out the problem. The idea in general of a gondola ride is a great one; the location is the downfall, which the gondola company cannot really control. We were promised a very romantic ride. However, as far out as we went, we could still hear the big concert going on at the Hatch Shell, from where the gondolas depart and return, and 90% of the ride (it was on a Saturday night) we saw men relieving themselves on shore and police walking the shores and breaking up little clusters of people from which came the distinct smell of marijuana. A few times, people on shore called out to us, asking for a ride, so it did not end up being the romantic surprise I'd envisioned for my date. Also, we were booked for 50 minutes and Joseph had indicated that we'd receive a little longer ride, given the glitches in the beginning; however, from the time we left the dock to the time we returned, it was a total of 45 minutes, so we were actually shorted five minutes. All in all, it was a different experience and my date enjoyed the surprise - but, given the location and the activity of the locals, over which the gondola company has no control, do not expect it to be romantic, even with the accordian player/singer, champagne (I brought) and basket of goodies. | ||||||
