| I booked this just one day in advance, hoping to make my fiance's birthday something to remember. I really can't say enough how incredible this experience was, from the professionalism of the gondola team, to the romantic sounds of the accordion music as we drifted peacefully along the Charles River. Although it helped to have a virtually perfect sky-blue day, what really made it perfect was the look on her face when we arrived, and the complete relaxation she experienced during the trip. The hour felt endless, and with the bottle of champagne we picked up at a small local wine shop on Charles Street before we arrived (and placed nicely on ice by the gondola team!), this was a day to remember! | ||||||

| The Mezza Luna gondola tour exceeded our expectations. From the polite, amiable staff to the grand views of Cambridge and Boston on the quiet Charles, everything about the tour is top notch. The gondola itself is an impressive piece of craftsmanship worth admiring if you can take your eyes away from the scenery. The accordion serenade is a nice addition to the overall mood of the tour. This has to be one of Boston's best-kept secrets. Highly recommended. | ||||||

| The view was beautiful but the over all experience was not worth the price I paid. We hit a bridge with our boat and there were people hanging out under the bridges which killed the romantic atmosphere. | ||||||

| I was celebrating my wife's birthday and the weather outside was a little frightful. A representative from GondolaTours contacted me well before my departure time to let me know that they were rescheduling our tour to another date. Since we lived locally, it was fine by us, but little did I know we were going to get some of the best weather GondolaTours so far have seen this season. I was very impressed that they called to reschedule, and the gondolier and musician were great hosts. If you're looking for a romantic evening, this is a wonderful option. | ||||||

| I would say the only irritating thing was the canned music- instead of gentle accordion recordings, it was the egregious Celine Dion. My gondolier was very gracious and was able to turn it off. The gondola was beautiful, the snacks were decent, the rose was a nice touch, and everyone was kind, although I was struck how filthy the water is near the boat. | ||||||

| The gondola ride was absolutely wonderful. All the staff were very accommodating. I am a local but I always saw the boats on the Charles and wanted to take the tour myself. I have recommended the tour to many people in town and will recommend it to anyone visiting Boston as well! | ||||||

| My husband booked this wonderful ride as a surprise ans it was GREAT. The 2 women we had with us on our ride were a delight. One pointed out some local landmarks along the Charles as we listened to accordion music played by the other. We went on a "sunset" cruise . We both want to go back and go at night to see the lights and candles on the gondola....and the city!! I would recommend this to anyone great time !!! | ||||||

| My husband and I took our friends out for a birthday celebration on your gondola . We had such a wonderful gondola crew. The gentlman who greeted us was so accommadating,Stephano our gondola guide was just perfect,and Marlana(accordion player)had the most beautiful voice. We were very satisfied,relaxed,and enjoyed our experience very much. The only thing I would recommend is that the basket presentation is more bountiful,and sanitary. The cheese should be cut into nice slices and not as if it were shaved,the strawberries did not seem to be washed. Needless to say I would work on a tray assortment. We will look forward to doing this again, | ||||||

| The stage was very well set and the atmosphere was romantic and relaxing. Scenery was beautiful and music added the final touch. You would never know that there were two other people on the Gondola with you. Everything feels completely personal and comfortable. Incredible experience!!! | ||||||

| My family and I, (Husband and two small children 4 & 1) really enjoyed this event. My son especially liked it. My daughter enjoyed the accordian player especially. We were treated so nice. Joseph was very accommodating and made sure we were all comfortable. I would really recommend this to anyone. I will do this again next year, but maybe just my husband and I this time. | ||||||

| Last Friday evening, Sept. 8th, I brought my boyfriend out on the Boston Gondolas for his Birthday. I have worked as a tour guide for seven years on the Charles River and mistakenly thought that I had seen all there was to see of the Charles. I knew of the Gondolas but had no knowledge of the landscaping that had been created on the Esplanade specifically with gondolas in mind. I truly felt like a Venetian. Our Gondolier, Giovanni, was extremely skilled and he and our accordian player, Marlena, made the evening perfect with their professionalism and talent. If I had scripted the evening I could not have done as well as what was provided. We left at twighlight which provided an opportunity to see the city skyline dimly lit by a setting sun. There was a lantern lit at the front of our vessel which added charm to an already perfect craft. My boyfriend and I, although never needing an excuse to kiss, welcomed the tradition of a kiss under each bridge. As we made our way down the Charles we were surprised by the sight and sound of fireworks on the Cambridge side and to our right barely resting on the top of the city skyline was an incredible full moon. Admittedly, my boyfriend and I chuckled at the thickness of the syrup that oozed over the evening. It was sweetly divine and I recommend it heartily. | ||||||
