Gondola di Venezia

I used my Bellissimo Boston Gondola tour to propose to my girlfriend. I could not be happier with the services provided. Staff was friendly and very concerned with making sure my details were perfect. My now fiance was very happy and surprised.

I booked the "Mezza Luna Tour" for our 22nd anniversary. Booking was a synch online; I even found a 10% discount code. Staff was excellent and nature cooperated with a magnificent sunset. We enjoyed a great wine with our namesake, from Beacon Hill Wine & Spirits, (just a short walk away) in supplied wine glasses which was put on ice in an ice bucket. We also enjoyed cheese & crackers, Lindt chocolates; they forgot the strawberries, but no worries, we just enjoyed a fine meal at Toscano Restaurant (also just a short walk away). The accordion player is a must; the music makes it that much better. We now have a new outlook about the Charles "dirty water".

I surprised my husband for a day/night in Boston for his birthday. I was looking for something different to do and a nice way to spend our time in Boston. After reading up on the gondola tours I thought it would be the perfect way to spend quality time together. To our delight it was fantastic. Upon arriving we met Steve and he gave us a brief description of the boat and what to expect. He put our wine on ice and had the basket of cheese, crackers and choclates ready for us. He made us comfortable and was very professional. The ride itself was so smooth I almost forgot we were on water. Being out there, we just had time to talk, enjoy Boston from a different prespective and relax. I would do this again in a heart beat. Don't think twice about it...you won't be sorry. I just booked the standard tour which I recommend. If you do, I would suggest upgrading upon booking it, to the extra 15 minutes. I can't even imagine how great the other tours are since I thought this one was fantastic. A definate must do again.

I asked "my now fiance" to marry me with the message in the bottle option. As you can tell, it worked. 5 Star service and I recommend it to anyone whether for engagement or just pure relaxation.

I decided to surprise my boyfriend with a gondola ride for our first anniversary. I wasn't quite sure how he would respond but as we were walking over the footbridge he spotted the gondola poles and couldn't stop smiling. When we arrived, Joe, our gondolier greeted us by name and helped us each into the boat. He then asked if we wanted a few pictures taken, which of course, we did. Joe gave us an awesome basket of crackers and cheese, chocolates, and cookies along with 2 bottles of water. We then took off down the canals, with the sun setting and soft Italian music playing in the background. Joe was very unobtrusive and let us enjoy the scenery and each others' company. There was even a nice fleece blanket for when we got a little chilly. Overall, the experience was fantastic and I would very much recommend it to any couple looking for some quite, romantic time together.

I surprised my wife with a gondola ride for our anniversary. She liked it very much and had a lot of fun. We did it just after dusk in September where there was a little chill in the air, but we had a blanket that kept us warm. It was nice and relaxing, as we sipped wine and enjoyed the ride. I actually had to postpone a couple times due to weather but it was worth it and they made sure that everything went smoothly. Would definitely recommend this.

Would like to start off saying that my husband & I arrived late. Yet we got a friendly greeting & they still took us on our ride. It was very relaxing & romantic, we went in the evening. Will definitely do it again & will recommend to friends.

Celebrated our 1 year, and it was absolutely amazing. The sunset was beautiful and the service worth every penny. Great find!

I'll be very brief: It was just PERFECT. I said it to the guy (which navigate Gondola), and it's my pleasure to repeat it here. He and the lady with accordeon - were amazing. Flowers were white roses - unbelievably beautiful. Gondola itself is a piece of art!

We enjoyed the Gondola ride tremendously. The Gondolier gave a brief history of the Gondola and we were on our way. The weather was perfect and the Boston/ Cambridge skyline was a great back drop. A n excellent adventure!

I would like to thank Steve for a perfect evening. When i booked a romantic night for my boyfriend and I, I had sent an added message that I was going to ask my boyfriend to marry me. Steve was incredible, he emailed me right back!! We corresponded almost every day , (because i was so nervous, i had so many questions,,, poor guy) He wanted to make sure our night was perfect, and it was. When we arrived, everyone was so nice. They greeted us like family. Gotta love Italians. I booked the most simple gondola ride, but added the picture, campaign glasses, and of course the message in a bottle. I composed my own poem and saying which i emailed to Steve--STEVE ,(again) put it onto gorgeous paper and put it in the bottle. Our ride was booked at night (7:30) so it was getting dark and they lit lights at both ends of the gondola. Quiet Italian music in the back round and a kiss under every bridge. When we weren't looking, Steve put the bottle into the river and turned us around and pointed it out to my boyfriend. He reached into the water and pulled out the bottle. Of course, after reading it i asked the all important question.. He answered YES.. and it was the most perfect moment of my entire life. Thank you to everyone there, for making the night so remarkable.

Incredible value. Win your girl's heart with minimal effort - the crew sets the mood, provides the snacks, music, propulsion. All you do is play it cool and she falls in love.

A very interesting and romantic experience, the gondolier and accordian player were very friendly and hospitable, and the tour itself was extremely pleasant. I would consider another tour on a special occasion.
