Hidden gem in Boston! Not to be missed

| The tour was absolutely wonderful! The gondolier was funny and informative, but gave us lots of privacy during the ride. Boston from the Charles at night is simply stunning. The gondola was roomy and comfortable, and the basket of goodies they brought us was delicious - a perfect complement to the bottle of wine we brought. Romantic, different, highly recommended. | ||||||

| I found this online while looking for a good birthday date. I kept it a secret, and she was very happy with her surprise. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the ride itself was peaceful and lovely in general. I highly recommend this to anyone looking to do something for thier special someone. | ||||||

| The Gondola ride was a memorable experience, but I still feel the price was a little steep. My reservation was from 5:30 to 6:20; it ended 10 minutes before sunset. I highly reccommend going during sunset or later. There is still too much activity around the Esplanade during the light hours and it makes for a lot of staring and pointing at the gondola. Night time is always more romantic anywyas! Make sure to bring a great wine for the evening, and also a warm sweater if the weather is brisk; it is alwasy 10-15 degrees colder on the water. Overall a great experience, but I would only do it once. | ||||||

| This was by far the best thing I've done in a long time. Took my girlfriend around 6:30 for our anniversary which was the best time slot ever that day. It was right when the sun was setting and everything looked so nice. The staff was very friendly and the music was great. Definitely recommend this to anyone wanting to enjoy the sites or go out on a romantic evening. A+++ | ||||||

| We've followed all the directions and arrived 15 minutes prior to the scheduled time.Personel was very pleasant, swedish tunes were great and the ride itself was perfect and non-invasive. I'd recommend it to my friends and relatives. | ||||||

| I scheduled this as a birthday surprise for my wife while we were in Boston. I grabbed a bottle of very nice champagne out of the hotel, which she seemed a bit confused over, and we headed towards the charles river where the gondola tour started. She was very shocked to see a guy in a striped shirt, an accordion player, and a gondola waiting for us. The staff was very courteous and professional. I figured out sunset for that particular day, and scheduled the tour accordingly. Yeah, im a geek, but it really paid off. The views were great, and the weather was warm and sunny that day. The food was good and fresh. flowers were fresh. It turned out it was her favorite kind of cheese and her favorite color of flowers, just by chance. I took credit for it, of course. The entire atmosphere was very romantic. Couples pointed us out on our journey, with the girl saying something to the guy (probably the girl asking the guy why he wasn't taking her on a gondola), accompanied by random tourists taking our picture from the shore. The only bad thing -- I didn't realize a few days after this tour -- is that this tour was supposed to include a picture of us. No one even mentioned it during our tour. I had our digital camera and performed a couple self portraits by holding the camera at a distance at ourselves, but it would have been nice if someone was there to do it for us. I think the bellissimo is well worth the money. Do it right and get the full package for that special someone. Its well worth it. | ||||||

| My husband and I were very pleased with our Mezza Luna experience. We had rescheduled from an evening ride to an eleven p.m. ride. At first we were leary of this change, but after cruising silently through the water with no other boats around, we felt that we had the city to ourselves. I highly recommend riding on the river after dark. We also highly recommend the accordian player-- it was so special to have live music in the boat with us. I'd definitely say spending the extra money for live music is worth it! Finally, everyone I spoke to-- from making the reservations to Charlie and Marco to the accordian player- were very friendly and polite. Overall a truly magical experience! | ||||||

| My GF and I have lived in the city for over 2 years together and this gondola ride was a perfect escape from our hectic lifestyle. It was easy to take a deep breath and relax while not even noticing the fact that you are a stones throw from Storrow Drive. I would definitely recommend this to anyone interested. The only flaw (although small) the wine glasses provided were plastic. | ||||||

Not only where they extremely helpful in my own planning, the wonderful picnic basket they provided with cheese and orange sodas was a wonderful post-proposal treat. With the sun setting over Cambridge and the moon rising over Boston, I could not have asked for a better setting! | ||||||

| The Gondola ride was fantastic. I had my doubts about the 9:00 pm reservation. But honestly, night time has to be the most romantic time to reserve. Boston looks absolutely beautiful at night. It definitely sets the mood. The rower and acordian player really made the experience memorable. The rower kept the Gondola moving at a perfect pace. The acordian player sounded great, her pauses between songs were ideal to let us talk. I do not think I will do it again, only because it was so original. I will, however, recommend it to anybody and everybody who wants a romantic night in Boston. Kudos to you Gondola people. When we got home, I have never seen my pants get taken off so quickly. Amazing. Well worth the money. | ||||||
