| I did not review my Bacio Excusion back in May because all the reviews were so positive already. I didin't feel like I had anything to add. This summer I went to Venice, Italy and was astounded how #1 expensive the gondola ride was (no ice bucket for our wine, no cheese, chocolate, and crackers, no romantic music playing in the background!!) #2 crowded the tight alleys were (we were a little too close to the bugs crawling up the sides of the walls) #3 dirty the back "alley" canals were #4 insane the slimey gondoliers were (ours NEVER shut up and made fun me kissing my husband!) Having said this, no one can deny that Venice is unique. If you can't make it to Italy, know that you are receiving a highly romantic and top quality trip with the gondoliers in Boston. The boats are kept in PRISTINE condition, our gondolier Steve/Stephan had just the right balance of information for the tour of Boston and knew when to back off so that we could enjoy our romantic sunset moments together. This is a great way to see Boston at sunset. The park is perfect, too! Bravo, Boston! | ||||||

| My girlfriend and I loved everything about the ride. Very polite and informative guide. Accoridion player was also very courteous as well as extremely talented. She performed a nice mix of songs in several languages...including "Happy Birthday" for my girlfriend's birthday. The picnic basket had the perfect mix and quantity of snacks for the ride. And the ride itself provided terrific views of Boston, especially Back Bay. | ||||||

| The gondola ride was absolutely wonderful. All the staff were very accommodating. I am a local but I always saw the boats on the Charles and wanted to take the tour myself. I have recommended the tour to many people in town and will recommend it to anyone visiting Boston as well! | ||||||

| My husband booked this wonderful ride as a surprise ans it was GREAT. The 2 women we had with us on our ride were a delight. One pointed out some local landmarks along the Charles as we listened to accordion music played by the other. We went on a "sunset" cruise . We both want to go back and go at night to see the lights and candles on the gondola....and the city!! I would recommend this to anyone great time !!! | ||||||

| I proposed on this tour to my girlfriend and she overwhelmingly said yes. The guys on the tour did a great job making sure we were comfortable and providing anything we needed (even a huge umbrella for rain, which we used at one point.). I guess what impressed me the most was when I got a call at 9am the morning of the tour warning me of rain. Joe asked me to reschedule the tour earlier so we would avoid the rain and gave me possible times. That was very professional. Now that you know the tour is great, here's some advice on what tour to take. I immediately chose the most expensive tour b/c I was proposing and I wanted everything to be as nice as possible. However, I didn't look into it and I could have saved $80 and gone without the personal pictures during the tour (you can use your own camera if you have one), large picture of the gondolas, and a can of sparkling soda (not necessary if you bring wine anyway). So, maybe you want to go with the other tour. Your choice. But again, bottom line is this tour is very romantic and done well. | ||||||

| I scheduled a gondola tour for me and boyfriend's 2 year and it was great! The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. We had a hard time parking but once i gave them a call they helped us out with finding a spot. The view on the Charles River is gorgeous and our gondalier brought us out the whole way even though it was windy. I highly recommmend it for anyone to try | ||||||

| I wanted to do something special for my girlfriend on our anniversary and this was absolutely perfect. I expected a lot from the tour because I'm a poor college student who was not used to paying this much for a date, but they delivered on what they said and more. Every employee bent over backwards to give us the best possible date and I can't thank them enough for making me look romantic without really trying. Absolutely reccommend!! | ||||||

| My boyfriend got put on call Friday nite so I called on Saturday morning...talked to Joe and he happily offered me a gift certificate so we can enjoy the gondola in the spring. This was a delightful surprise because the website said no rescheduling.....I was so disappointed that we were unable to go Saturday nite, however, Joe was VERY professional and accommodating. I will tell everyone what a wonderful experience I had and I look forward to surprising my boyfriend in the spring with a romantic evening on the Charles with Peligrino (hopefully) serenading us!! | The personnel who ride you around are excellent, courteous, and knowledgeable. The tour is a must for couples. Extremely romantic with perks along the way. Blanket to keep you warm if it gets cool. | ||||||

| Last Sunday I took my husband on a surprise Gondola ride on the Charles. We just moved to Boston recently and what a great initiation to the city. Everything was perfect, the day couldn't have been anyore beautiful and the service was amazing. We were treated like VIP. Our gondolaire and accordian player were fantastic. We'll definitely do it again next season! | ||||||

| My wife and I have lived in the Boston area for four months and this certainly is the best activity we've done around the city. It was very relaxing, romantic, and it provided us with some amazing views of downtown. I would recommend it to anyone interested in impressing their significant other. we plan to make this a yearly activity. | ||||||

| In celebrating an engagement, I surprised my fiancee with a weekend in Boston to include a gondola tour. I highly recommend Gondola di Venezia as the onsite staff were extremely professional and helpful. A sunset tour, accordian player, authentic gondola, and basket of delicious treats, warm apple cider and blanket (all provided by the tour company) truly made for a romantic occasion. Both my fiancee and I would definitely recommend a gondola tour of the Charles River for a couple celebrating a romantic event or for anyone looking for a unique experience. | ||||||
