| Last Friday evening, Sept. 8th, I brought my boyfriend out on the Boston Gondolas for his Birthday. I have worked as a tour guide for seven years on the Charles River and mistakenly thought that I had seen all there was to see of the Charles. I knew of the Gondolas but had no knowledge of the landscaping that had been created on the Esplanade specifically with gondolas in mind. I truly felt like a Venetian. Our Gondolier, Giovanni, was extremely skilled and he and our accordian player, Marlena, made the evening perfect with their professionalism and talent. If I had scripted the evening I could not have done as well as what was provided. We left at twighlight which provided an opportunity to see the city skyline dimly lit by a setting sun. There was a lantern lit at the front of our vessel which added charm to an already perfect craft. My boyfriend and I, although never needing an excuse to kiss, welcomed the tradition of a kiss under each bridge. As we made our way down the Charles we were surprised by the sight and sound of fireworks on the Cambridge side and to our right barely resting on the top of the city skyline was an incredible full moon. Admittedly, my boyfriend and I chuckled at the thickness of the syrup that oozed over the evening. It was sweetly divine and I recommend it heartily. | ||||||

| My husband and I have been married over 12 years and this was to celebrate my 40th birthday- What a wonderful experience- romantic and enjoyable. We will definately do it again next year- We have told all our family and friends- The music was excellent and our gondelier was so nice, intresting in explaining about our expereince and I got the best pictures of the ride and the city. THE BEST !!! | ||||||

| THIS IS AMAZING, I REPEAT, THIS IS AMAZING. I took my wife there for her birthday as we honeymooned in Italy, and it concided with her birthday two years ago. We had a gondola ride in Venice, and I whole heartedly say this was BETTER., WAY BETTER. The gondola, awesome, the gondolier, awesome, the music, awesome, the ride, awesome. AND most important, they make it very verty personal. I am going to do this again. They are awesome, I cannot recommend it highley enough. | ||||||

| My fiancee and I were out on a date and I had surprised him with the Mezza Luna Gondola ride. I brought a bottle on wine with me and they supplied the rest. It was a very romantic evening. As we went down the river we saw the city lit up. The service was excellent, the accordian player was a nice touch. The night was perfect. We would definetely do this again and we would recommend this to anyone!! | ||||||

| After booking the tour, I was contacted by an agent who detailed a special addition to our tour for a marriage proposal. Everything went off without a hitch. The staff was very helpful and enthusiastic about the engagement. Our hosts were so friendly and gracious. My fiance was blown away by the whole thing. I would recommend this tour to anyone, whether it be for a romantic date or engagement. Thanks very much for the wonderful memories! | ||||||

| Taking a gondola ride on the Charles River in Boston may seem corny to some but it couldn't have been more delightful. From the incredible attention to detail to the wonderful staff, this is a perfect activity for any couple at any stage in their relationship. We plan to make it an annual date! | ||||||

| I surprised my girlfriend with the Bellismo package. It was a great surprise and we were well taken care of. I had asked for a blanket and brought a bottle of wine to be chilled ahead of time. The wine was chilled and the blanket was there waiting for us. We were treated like a King and Queen and we LOVED the live accordian music and the Italian singing...very nice touch! | ||||||

| I took my wife on the Mezza Luna Gondola Tour for her birthday. She had no idea what I had planned. When we got to the site, she was speechless. She absolutely loved it. The accordian player played the most beautiful italian music. The Boston skyline was just amazing from that vantage point. We had a bottle of wine (provided by us), along with assorted cheese and crackers, and strawberries and chocolates. I would definetly recommend taking your significant other on one of the Gondola Tours as it truly makes for a romantic evening. | ||||||

| Our tour started with a 10 minute introduction to the history of the Gondola, its craftmanship and how it changed over the years with the position of the rower from front to back. Cheese, crackers and chocolate treats were waiting on the boat, we brought our own wine. There was a pink rose laying across the seat and we were gracefully assisted on board. Italian music played quietly in the back ground while we were educated about the tradtion of the Good Luck Kiss when passing under the bridges. The weather was great, the other couple we passed on their Gondola were friendly and the ride was so smooth, you could hardly tell you were moving at all. We've recommended you to two other couples already and will definately be back ourselves. Until then, CIAO! | ||||||

| We are a local couple. I decided to suprise my boyfriend with a gondola tour one night after dinner. It totally exceeded my expectations. The accordian player was fabulous, and the love songs she sang were perfect. I loved the strawberries and chocolate, my boyfriend loved the cheese and crackers. we snuggled up under the provided blankets and kissed under each of the bridges for luck. I was worried he'd find it cheesy, but my boyfriend loved it so much he hasn't stopped talking about it yet. I highly rec'd it for locals and tourists alike. | ||||||
