| I suprised my boyfriend by taking him on the gondola ride for his Birthday and we actually were both surprised! It was such a beautiful clear night, I wish I could descibe the feeling but it was too much to word. I loved it! We loved it and I have recommended it to EVERYONE since! | ||||||

| I surprised my husband for his 61st birthday and it was such a wonderful, fun and romantic experience. Marco the gondelier was so personable and the Accordianist, Brawnwin was extremely talented. I would recommend this for any occasion!!! | ||||||

| GondolaTours helped me create the perfect proposal opportunity. Not only where they extremely helpful in my own planning, the wonderful picnic basket they provided with cheese and orange sodas was a wonderful post-proposal treat. With the sun setting over Cambridge and the moon rising over Boston, I could not have asked for a better setting! | ||||||

| The MezzaLuna was part of my wife's birthday gift. By far one of the best experiences we've ever had. Very relaxing and romantic. The gondolier and accordion player were the ultimate professionals. I'd recommend this without reservation to anyone. | ||||||

| It is very romantic being on the river, pretty much by yourself and without any boat noise! They also provide the "extra" touches, cheese and crackers, ice bucket and glasses if you bring wine or champagne. | ||||||

| the gondola ride was very nice and romantic for the two of us. the music and basket of goodies,help spice up the moment.it was the perfect opertunatey for the two of us to hold each other and have a romantic conversation and just to be together without being bother by the world around us. we both look forward to doing it again at some time in the future. | ||||||

| Although I've lived in Boston 10 years, I've never seen it from this vantage point. It was very peaceful and relaxing. Leisuely passing under all of the bridges was really beautiful. Although the tour does not go too far up the river, it was still a nice way to enjoy an afternoon. The gondolier was very nice and informative. I would definitely recomend this for a romantic event or a special occasion. | ||||||

| My husband and I took our friends out for a birthday celebration on your gondola . We had such a wonderful gondola crew. The gentlman who greeted us was so accommadating,Stephano our gondola guide was just perfect,and Marlana(accordion player)had the most beautiful voice. We were very satisfied,relaxed,and enjoyed our experience very much. The only thing I would recommend is that the basket presentation is more bountiful,and sanitary. The cheese should be cut into nice slices and not as if it were shaved,the strawberries did not seem to be washed. Needless to say I would work on a tray assortment. We will look forward to doing this again, | ||||||

| This was a surprise anniversary gift for my marriage partner, lover and best friend. The total experience from the moment we arrived until the end of the ride was first class. Joseph, the owner, is a charmer and wonderful storyteller which impressed Carol because she is a - amongst other skills - a professional storyteller. I had booked a full moon, late night ride. However, that night it began to rain intermittenly and was windy. Joseph wasn't comfortable doing the ride and said we can rebook. However, he said, "sit in the gondola, enjoy the wine and cheese so that not all is lost. " That 20 minutes just sitting there in the magnificent boat - "Maria" -was memorable and romantic. We rebooked for August 3st. I've picnicked, walked, biked, boated, photographed and enjoyed concerts, movies and fireworks on the Charles River for 50 years. Yet the gondola ride with Carol was my most memorable experience of all. Another 10PM ride with the accordian player and Gondalier behind us we glided like a whisper up and down the river. The gondalier smoothly navigated so that we could see Cambridge and Boston from numerous angles. Light clouds drifted overhead, the city lights like jewels glistening in the night and reflecting in the river. Soft accordian coming music from behind us - we were in our own world. Tradition is that couples kiss as they pass under a bridge. There are 7 bridges on the ride. We didn't need the bridges. Joseph's energy and love for the gondola is so evident as he explained the history of his business now in its 6th year, the history of the gondola and that he owns two of the six genuine Venetian Gondolas in the Americas. His Maria is a magnificent work of elegant craftmanship and artistry. Everyone needs a gondola tour on the Charles, especially at night with a full moon. Another of Boston's hidden worlds. | The smooth gondola ride, lovely music, roses, chocolates, Italian treats and Boston skyline all are a recipe for romance. My wife felt like a queen as the gondoliere helped her into her seat. We spent the next hour drifting along the Charles River to celebrate our wedding anniversary.......the rest of the world sped along at its frenzied pace. What an wonderful, and easy, way to celebrate a special occasion! | ||||||

| That was the most wonderful day I have ever experienced. My boyfriend told me that he had a suprise for that Saturday, but he gave no clue about what would it be like. The day started with a beautiful red roses, then he took me to the riverside, with the beautiful view of Charles River we started to wait for something. I started to get very curious for what could happen, he told me that we were upto something, but what?????????? Then the Gondola di Venezia staff greeted us and they told us our gondola was ready. I got very excited at that moment because I realized that we were upto something very very special. After we took our seats they brought me beautiful pink roses, a picnic basket, and a bottle of wine. We opened the picnic basket which had a candel, two glasses, and some snacks like strawberries, chocolates, crakers and cheese... Moreover there was a musician who played romantic love rthyms with accordion all trip long. Then we started our tour on Charsles River when sun slowly started to down. We kissed while crossing under every bridge, because they told us it brings luck. Finally my love suddenly took out a little white box, a ring box. He looked into my eyes and asked me to marry him, I said YESSSS... I love him so much and I would like to thank to the staff working there and to the person who brings that special oppurtunity to Boston. Thank you all, that was the most special, wonderful day I have ever lived. Thank you... :) | ||||||
