| My date and I was promptly greeted and introduced , escorted on the boat and explained the history of the boat and our guide and his training for the trip on the charles. I was very happy that they still accomodated us for the evening because the weather was trying as it continued to rain, and they did say that an e-mail was sent to us because of the weather, but it could not have been a more beautiful night on the charles, we had a basket of cheese and crackers and lovely chocolate, candle and lanterns lit , need I say more..... I would greatly suggest this activity and have to all my friends...Thank You very much to the team of II Bacio Gondola tours. Best Betty McMahon John Mahoney | ||||||

| Met all of our expectations. I'm wondering if there is enough appreciation for the gondola tours on the Charles. We've known about it for a long time and finally had the opportunity to try it. Bringing a small piece of Venice to Boston! I wish you guys great longevity and the hope that it will reach the legendary level of the Swann Boats. It is certainly headed in that direction. | My wife and I celebrated our anniversary last week with an evening Bellissimo gondola tour on a flat/calm night after sunset. It was a great experience with cheerful boatman and accordionist/singer with a good variety of music that complemented the evening. An hour is a good length, gets you up into the Charles and out where you can see the lights, and back. It's always amazing how you can find places where it's so quiet, in the middle of the city. I can't compare Bellissimo to the other tour options available, but the surprise (to us) extras were very nice and having the option to stick a bottle that we brought with us on ice was appreciated. Nice time, and highly recommended to others. (If you bring your camera for night shots of city lights, be sure it can be set up to a high ISO setting and just live with whatever digital noise results. Our camera was set at 400 - forgot to double-check before starting - and that wasn't remotely fast enough to avoid motion blur even though it was flat calm and a smooth ride.) | ||||||

| I can't imagine a more delightful way to celebrate a 25th wedding anniversary than taking a gondola ride on the Charles River. From the first moment, our gondolier and musician did a perfect job of making us comfortable, providing a romantic and friendly atmosphere, and treating us to a captivating hour. Nibbling fresh strawberries while sipping champagne, listening to Italian songs while slipping under bridges (with a kiss for good luck), and watching the stars and city lights compete in a twinkling contest made for a very memorable evening. We highly recommend Mezza Luna!!! | ||||||

| This was the highlight of a group of friends (6 women) taking a get away trip to Boston. The earlier times were booked, so we reserved 8:00 pm. We were concerned it would be a little late, but it was perfect. It was dusk and the lights of the city were just coming on, which made for a beautiful backdrop. The gondolier, Stephano, and the accordian player, Melaina, were authentic and superb. It would be a wonderful ride for couples, friends or families. | ||||||

| We had a wonderful late summer evening to enjoy our gondola ride. The staff was courteous and friendly. No problems finding the place. The the ride went smoothly. The accordian player also sang and had a wondeful voice. I just wish the ride was longer!!!! It is a little pricey but this is something you dont do everyday. It was a birthday present for my boyfirend... much better than cufflinks! | ||||||

| I wanted to do something different for my husbands birthday. This was it! He never shows to much excitement about things except sports.Well he couldn't thank me enough for this gift. Thankyou for making this a memorable birthday. We finished it off by having dinner in the North End. I highley recommend this tour. | ||||||

| I can’t imagine a more romantic evening than dinner in a nice restaurant, followed by a cruise in a gondola with roses, strawberries and chocolate. These folks have thought of every detail and spare no effort to provide you with an unforgettable experience. My lady was reduced to a puddle of joyful tears and has not stopped talking about this to everyone she knows and several she didn’t. Gentlemen, it’s not a matter of ‘if,’ it must be a matter of ‘when.’ If you are within 100 miles of Boston, sign up for this truly magnificent experience. It’s easily worth twice the price. After this, I figure I can do no wrong for at least a decade! | ||||||

| My husband and I loved this! It was so relaxing. We will do this again sometime, but thought we would book two trips in a row, once was not enough. I was hesitant about the accordian music (thought it might be corny), but that made the trip. | ||||||

| When we first arrived, we had about 15 minutes to wait for the previous ride to return. We were greeted by our gondolier, he made us feel very welcomed and helped us with our wine and questions. Once we entered the gondola, both our gondolier and Marlena (?) made us comfortable, took our pictures and made the ride totally enjoyable....and what a great accordionist, not only played romantic Italian and Parisian songs but sang in Italian and French. I have and will continue to recommend this as the greatest gift for your loved one's birthday, anniversary or just a great date. I will give this as a gift to our friends for their upcoming anniversaries and I look forward to the fall harvest themed ride. Many thanks for the best secret in Boston (only found the ride when I was searching for something to do on the internet). Had no idea they had been around for 8 years already..... Strongly recommend and highly endorse..... Thank you.... | ||||||
