| With champagne chilling on ice, cheese & crackers and a rose for the ladies, we embarked on our ride. With soft music in the background, Marco explained the origin of the boat and how few boats and gondoliers there were outside of Venice. We enjoyed a wonderfully peaceful view of Boston from a different vantage point. Having grown up in the area, it was surprising to find such a wonderful activity in Boston. I highly recommend the tour for anyone wanting a quiet, unusual view of Boston. | ||||||

| When I first heard about this Gondola Tour, I thought it might be too cliche -- especially since we live in downtown Boston and are very picky about "touristy" attractions. But, after reading the brochure, I thought it sounded like it could be a nice surprise for my husband's birthday. Well, it ended up surpassing all of our expectations. A very special and romantic evening - it almost didn't seem like we were in Boston. Our friends met us on the dock with some champagne and we were welcomed aboard by our very nice gondolier. I must say that our accordian player Megan was wonderful - she really made the experience. Her voice is amazing. I was also impressed by the gondola itself. A beautiful boat, with very comfortable seating. I highly recommend this experience! | ||||||

| We celebrated 3 friends turning 60 by surprising them with the gondula tour on the Charles River. We travel together often and were unable to do so this year, so we brought a bit of Italy to our "60 and sensational" celebration. The gondolier and our accordianist made this a most memorable evening. It was a spectacular way to enjoy our city, the river and our friends. | ||||||

| It was unbelievable. My wife and I basically never get out, and I work outdoors in downtown Boston every day, and my wife works in an office downtown also. So here we are on a gondola cruising up and down the Charles, being given a private concert (and she has an amazing voice!) of all the greatest Italian and French romantic songs of all time, while eating a basket of cheese and crackers and chocolates. We both see the city all the time, but neither of us have never seen it like this! Our gondolier was great also -- at the beginning he told us the history of this great little boat we were in, but once the trip gets going, you really have to try to see our two hosts and aside from the beautiful music, they just left the two of us to be with each other. If anyone reading this is like us and don't get out and don't do romantic things together too often, take a break and do this -- you deserve it and won't regret it. | ||||||

| After dinner and a show at the Shubert, we took the 11 pm gondola, which was part of my wife's birthday surprises. Of everything we did over a two day packed-full of fun weekend -this was the best! Champagne, cheese, a warm breeze and Boston's sky line from the Charles at midnight. Who needs Italy?! | ||||||

| My husband and I were celebrating our 20th anniversary and was looking forward to our first sunset condola ride. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a cloudy evening and we never saw the sun set. I loved the setting of the small canal, unfortunately there was debris in the water off to the side and the canal is right off the street which makes it a little difficult to be romantic. We began to enjoy the woman who sang and played the accordian but unfortunately it began to rain and she had to put away her instrument and we had to listen to a tape. I would still give it a shot though. | ||||||

| We had a fantastic time and would highly recommend this experience. Our Gondolier was wonderful. She told us information regarding the Gondola and the making of it. We really appreciated the history. She was very professional. We will be sure to take another Gondola ride when we are back in Boston. Thanks again for a wonderful time! | ||||||

| My wife and I went on the Bellissimo tour for our 18th anniversary. Our first evening was canceled by Gondola Tours because of rain, and they were very friendly about it. We were already in the area that evening, and they said they'd take us if we wanted, but they really recommended a nicer night. Since they would have gone to waste, they even gave my wife the roses she would have gotten had we taken the tour on our original night. Rescheduling on the phone was easily and pleasantly done. They were helpful with checking both weather and availability. We went on the tour over a month later, and had a wonderful time. We went at 9:00, and think it was even better than sunset would have been. The gondolier and the accordion player were available for questions or comments, but were careful to let our time be about enjoying the tour with each other. We enjoyed the snacks, the breeze (not quite cool enough to pull out the blanket), the waves, the bridges, the trees, and everything. There were several couples looking at us as we passed under bridges (we gave them our recommendation). There were even a few fireworks on the horizon while we were out on the river. That was a coincidence, but we pretended that the tour had arranged it for us. Although the Bellissimo was the most expensive tour, we felt that our hour flew by, and are glad we didn't take a shorter one. The experience as a whole and all the little points were certainly worth it. | ||||||

| LAST SATURDAY, 1 NOV, MY HUSBAND TOOK ME ON ONE OF THE MOST ROMANTIC RIDES WE HAVE EVER HAD. A ONE HOUR GONDOLA RIDE ON THE CHARLES RIVER (BOSTON) WITH THE STRAINS OF ACCORDIAN MUSIC AND LOVE SONGS. THE FACT IT WAS AT SUNDOWN ONLY ENHANCED THE EXPERIENCE. NOT ONLY THAT, I RECEIVED A DOZEN BEUTIFUL RED ROSES. IT IS TRUELY A TRIP THAT ANYONE WITH A LITTLE ROMANCE IN THEIR SOULS WOULD APPRECIATE. | ||||||

| I planned this date for my husband and myself for our 12 year wedding anniversary. I never imagined how beautiful and romantic it would be. We love it so much that we are planning on giving a certificate to my sister and brother in law for their anniversary. Of course it does not have to be a special occasion to go on a Gondula Tour.
