| Our gondola ride thoroughly exceeded our expectations. My husband and I suprised my parents with the ride and the four of us had a wonderful time. The gondolier was so friendly and the ride was great. We had a singer/acordian player as well and she was fabulous - it truly added to the entire experience. This is a relaxing, peaceful, romantic way to see the beauty of the city. Thank you so much! | ||||||

| This was probably the most romantic thing my husband and I have done in nine years of marriage. The gondolere and the accordianist were great. Her voice was beautiful and we made some encore requests. Seemed like no one else was around. Beautiful roses and snacks to enjoy. Overall amazing | ||||||

| What a fun and romantic outing for a couple in love. My wife and I really did not know what to expect when we signed up for the gondola ride on a whim. We were very impressed with the attention to detail. The gondolier went out of his way to make sure that both of us were comfortable. The Charles River provides a very romantic setting. The gondolier and the accordian player were very friendly but careful not to be obtrusive. They allow you all the privacy you like. The accordian player was not only talented with her instrument, but she had a beautiful singing voice as well. In addition to playing traditional Italian love songs, she entertained us by improvising an accordian rendition of "Take Me Out To The Ballgame", sensing that my wife and I were both big Red Sox fans. Two thumbs way up! | ||||||

| My sister and I were celebrating our mother's 72nd birthday. My mom, who's typically reserved couldn't stop talking about what a great time she had. Although she was extremely nervous about first stepping onto the boat, by the end of the trip she stepped off the boat with a smile and lovely memories. Our Gondolier was great with pointing out local landmarks and historical facts. Thank you for helping us create a lovely & memorable birthday experience for our mom. | ||||||

| When we first arrived, we had about 15 minutes to wait for the previous ride to return. We were greeted by our gondolier, he made us feel very welcomed and helped us with our wine and questions. Once we entered the gondola, both our gondolier and Marlena (?) made us comfortable, took our pictures and made the ride totally enjoyable....and what a great accordionist, not only played romantic Italian and Parisian songs but sang in Italian and French. I have and will continue to recommend this as the greatest gift for your loved one's birthday, anniversary or just a great date. I will give this as a gift to our friends for their upcoming anniversaries and I look forward to the fall harvest themed ride. Many thanks for the best secret in Boston (only found the ride when I was searching for something to do on the internet). Had no idea they had been around for 8 years already..... Strongly recommend and highly endorse..... Thank you.... | ||||||

| This was for father's day. It was wonderful...better weather would have made it perfect. We went off on time (4pm) after the attendant explained what we could expect. The gondola was clean and ready. An ice bucket and glasses were provided as well as the cheese and chocolate basket. There were 5 adults so it was a full gondola but we were all comfortable. The ride was nice and slow and we were able to chat along the way......the attendant was there to answer questions but he did not intrude on our conversation. I would recommend it to all my friends....it really was unique and a ride we will all remember! | ||||||

| What a wonderful romantic experience. The gondolier obviously loves what he's doing for a living and talked just enough to make it pleasant, but left you alone to enjoy the scenery and the feel of the event. It was a spectacular way to celebrate our anniversary. | ||||||

| The first time I went on the tour I went with my husband and another couple. We are traveling to Venice next spring so we thougt it would be a nice prefice to our trip. It was so lovely and romantic. The next time I went I took my elderly father on his birthday. He was a little apprehensive before we got there but her enjoyed in immensley and has not stopped talking about it since. The gondola was beautiful and I felt very honored to have one of the few woman godoliers in the world. She was great! It was a unique experience and makes a very nice gift for someone. Will definetely book it again. | ||||||

| I took my husband for our 1-yr wedding anniversary and we had the best time! The boat was absolutely beautiful, and despite my initial misgivings of how we could be all snuggly and romantic with 2 other people in the boat, they soon gave way to a peaceful ride with beautiful music that added to, not distracted from, the experience. My only qualm with the whole thing is that the time went by way too fast! | ||||||

| It was a surprise for my wife so she had no idea where we were going until we got there. Once there her face lit up because it was something she would never had thought of. The ride was very relaxing and enjoyable and on the day we went there many sail boats out giving us something extra to look at. I say extra because the regular scenery was great. Seeing the city from a different point of view was interesting and towards the end of the ride you coast thru a quiet almost inlet type area that's a nice way to end the ride. The employs were friendly and polite and made the whole experience enjoyable and memorable. Over all I would highly recommend it. It's a great surprise for a wife or girl friend and I have to believe it would score big points if you're trying to impress someone new. | ||||||

| It was such a nice change of the pace of Boston life. Relax and enjoy the beautiful music from the accordian as you peacefully manuver down the St. Charles while enjoying your champagne and delightful snacks. Kissing under each bridge is a must! The music is the best! Would do it again and next time for a longer length of time. Now we want to go try Venice gondolas. | ||||||

| A great way to celebrate a special day. It was a birthday surprise for my wife and she also thought the Gondola ride was a wonderful idea. We arrived about 15 minutes early. Our accordian player greeted us, chilled our wine, and told us we would be ready to go right on time. After a short intro by our gondolier regarding the history of the gondola, etc. we were off on the Charles. A lot of smiles and picture taking greeted us from the shores as we passed by. We enjoyed the wine, as well as the provided cheese and crackers, strawberries, and chocolates. Our accordian player sang in Italian and played great songs to go along with the ride. We were out on the Charles for 50 minutes, as described, and left very happy. I read alot of reviews before booking. Spending this kind of money, I wanted to be sure that the experience would be worth it. I can safely say that I don't really understand the few negative reviews on this site. The staff of Boston Gondola went out of their way to make sure everything was taken care of and we had a wonderful time. No regrets! | ||||||

| I'd heard about the gondola tours on Chronicle and thought it sounded like fun, so I booked it for our 24th anniversary. We were very fortunate that the weather was spectacular the day of our tour. We found the excursion very relaxing and romantic. It made me feel very special that day. We were very impressed with our gondolier and his knowledge of his craft. We recommended it to several of our friends the next day. | ||||||
