Gondola di Venezia

I ordered the gondola ride as a surprise birthday present and it was absolutely perfect! We left the lagoon shortly after 10:00 pm and after a delightful chat with our helmsman, Charles, we enjoyed a gorgeous leisurely trip out onto the Charles River where we marveled at the beautiful Boston city lights and the various magnificent reflections on the water. The weather was perfect and sipping wine and enjoying the provided snack of cheese, crackers and chocolates added to a wonderful experience for both of us. It will be tough to top this gift next year......maybe I'll just book another gondola ride! :)

A beautiful fantastic evening on an authentic / made in Venice gondola. This was our second time and we will definitely do it again. Perfect venue for a romantic evening with one's spouse or girlfriend. Bring a bottle of champagne, sit back and relax, listen to the soothing romantic music of Andre Bocelli and enjoy a most romantic evening. We highly recommend this.

Hats off to the crew Stephano. I also cannot say enough about the accordian player. He really knew how to play (very technically proficient) and set a very romantic, relaxing mood.

I was looking for a special present to give my lovely wife in celebration of our 27th anniversary, and couldn't think of anything I hadn't already done for her or bought her. I knew the perfect gift was just simply spending time together but was stumped on what kind of "date" would be something new for us. That's when I heard about the gondola tours on the Charles River. I wanted my wife to have the most enjoyable experience so I purchased the Bellissimo package. It was everything I had hoped for, and my enjoyment that evening was more about her happiness at being treated to something so romantic. The live music and apetizers on board added a nice touch. I booked this for an Anniversary present for my husband and I'm so glad I did. We had a great time. It was something with a little bit different. I booked the 6PM tour and this time of year (September) it was great, because the sun was just starting to set. We brought our own wine and with the cheese and crackers, strawberries and chocolate that was provided it was perfect. I also went the extra step and got the accordian player also. I'd recommend it to anyone for a little "special" treat or gift. I'm telling everyone about it. You need to do more publicity - Get your name out there!! Great job guys!!

The staff, gondolier and accordian player were extremely courteous and a pleasure to be with. The champange, fresh fruit, crackers and cheese added the right touch to our day. It was a beautiful and calming tour along the Charles River. The weather and the whole atmosphere definetly made it a relaxing adventure. This is a great gift for family or friends and I highly recommended it.

The Mezza Luna was a great ride. We chose a 5:30 trip in August. Weather was perfect for it. Beautiful views of Boston. The gondolier and accordian player were delightful and unobtrusive. We brought wine, they supplied the ice bucket and opener. The basket of goodies was exactly as advertized. Cheese & crackers, chocolates, and strawberries. Plenty for the four in our party. The gondola was clean and dry; we could have easily dressed for an elegant evening in town without worries. We're sure to do it again sometime, perhaps after dark so we can see the lights of the city. But I'd do another daytime trip in a heartbeat as well. We were so surprised to find this has been in business for nine years. How did we miss it all this time? Luckily for us, we received the trip as a gift certificate. Otherwise, who knows how long it would take us to find this hidden gem. Booking's a breeze through the well-designed web-site. Highly recommended as a gift for yourself or for someone else. Remember to bring cash for a tip and enjoy!

Great time and a super idea.....did it for wifes birthday and she loved it...kids liked as well...but it was a hot day, and the red cloth on the seats stained an expensive new shirt...had to walk to a store downtown to buy a new shirt....otherwise, great venue.

After spending a full day in Boston Harbor, hiking on Spectacle Island, walking through the North End, eating pizza from the Upper Crust on Charles St. in the Public Gardens, we walked over the Arthur Fiedler Footbridge to the Charles. We were more than ready for the tranquil gondola ride on the river. With footrests and a basket of goodies at our feet we sat back on the comfortable throne like seats. The gondelier and the accordian player were friendly but once on the boat kept to themselves and let us relax. A splendid way to end a splendid day!

The whole event was wonderful, start to finish. We were 2 couples celebrating a birthday for one of us. The weather cooperated fantastically, and they had prepared a picnic basket full of cheese/crackers, strawberries and chocolates! The wine we brought was uncorked and put in an ice bucket, and off we went . . . and the singer/accordian player was great. The gondolier and singer both were 'invisible' and never spoke unless spoken to (which wasn't necessary, but we realize that's probably part of it - they aren't the event, the trip itself is). I've already recommended this to anyone wanting an unusual celebration, or just a peaceful cruise around the Charles River. We were never more than 50 feet from shore, more often we were closer. I will definately make reservations again. Many thanks for a wonderful evening cruise!

A real Winner! This set the mood for a romantic evening in Boston! I highly recommend this for any couple! Bring a bottle of Bubbly!

very enjoyable ride and very courteous staff

My date and I was promptly greeted and introduced , escorted on the boat and explained the history of the boat and our guide and his training for the trip on the charles. I was very happy that they still accomodated us for the evening because the weather was trying as it continued to rain, and they did say that an e-mail was sent to us because of the weather, but it could not have been a more beautiful night on the charles, we had a basket of cheese and crackers and lovely chocolate, candle and lanterns lit , need I say more.....
