| It helped that the weather was perfect, but I decided to surprise my wife with a night time (10pm) Gondola ride. It was awesome. The music, the ride, the snacks, everything was perfect. My wife said it was one of the top three things I've ever done. | ||||||

| Our 26th Wedding Anniversary - nice sunny day and warm. Great! Take off from work early and this is going to turn out great. However, while I am driving home I get a call on my cell. "Sorry the trip is cancelled because of the weather." Huh? " It is too windy for the boats to go out today." So Plan B has to develop quickly. We go to Boston anyway to visit the waterfront and take in dinner. Getting off the Pike we see several flags near the seaport that are hanging limply - no "high" wind. So we parked by the Aquarium, had dinner and took in a wonderful sunset harbor cruise on very calm waters and sparse clouds. Meanwhile the gondola operator has my money and we now have to reschedule. We will see how it goes but it won't be our anniversary. I think the "high" winds was just a lot of hot air! | ||||||

| I did not review my Bacio Excusion back in May because all the reviews were so positive already. I didin't feel like I had anything to add. This summer I went to Venice, Italy and was astounded how #1 expensive the gondola ride was (no ice bucket for our wine, no cheese, chocolate, and crackers, no romantic music playing in the background!!) #2 crowded the tight alleys were (we were a little too close to the bugs crawling up the sides of the walls) #3 dirty the back "alley" canals were #4 insane the slimey gondoliers were (ours NEVER shut up and made fun me kissing my husband!) Having said this, no one can deny that Venice is unique. If you can't make it to Italy, know that you are receiving a highly romantic and top quality trip with the gondoliers in Boston. The boats are kept in PRISTINE condition, our gondolier Steve/Stephan had just the right balance of information for the tour of Boston and knew when to back off so that we could enjoy our romantic sunset moments together. This is a great way to see Boston at sunset. The park is perfect, too! Bravo, Boston! | ||||||

| My girlfriend and I loved everything about the ride. Very polite and informative guide. Accoridion player was also very courteous as well as extremely talented. She performed a nice mix of songs in several languages...including "Happy Birthday" for my girlfriend's birthday. The picnic basket had the perfect mix and quantity of snacks for the ride. And the ride itself provided terrific views of Boston, especially Back Bay. | ||||||

| The gondola ride was absolutely wonderful. All the staff were very accommodating. I am a local but I always saw the boats on the Charles and wanted to take the tour myself. I have recommended the tour to many people in town and will recommend it to anyone visiting Boston as well! | ||||||

| I arranged a gondola ride for my mothers 74 birthday. I was concerned about her walking the short distance over the footbridge to the site and talked with the coordinator Megan about it. She was wonderful and understanding and made arrangements for us to drop her off right at the half shell. The day of the surprise Megan called to tell us that there was an event that prohibited our plan to drop off and she arranged to meet us at our parking area and would drive my mom over to the site. Everything went smoothly, Megan met us with her gondola outfit on waving at the corner! My mom was so surprised. It was a beautiful day and the gondola was so enchanting. My two daughters and I gave her birthday kisses under every bridge for good luck. She told us that it was the best surprise anyone had ever given her and she loved every minute of it! Thank you for a great memory, Megan! | ||||||

| My husband booked this wonderful ride as a surprise ans it was GREAT. The 2 women we had with us on our ride were a delight. One pointed out some local landmarks along the Charles as we listened to accordion music played by the other. We went on a "sunset" cruise . We both want to go back and go at night to see the lights and candles on the gondola....and the city!! I would recommend this to anyone great time !!! | ||||||

| This is a unique and extremely relaxing way to take in the Charles River and some spectacular Boston views. The gondolas are authentic, Venetian-crafted, artwork in and of themselves. My wife and I went for our anniversary. Few other experiences have been so romantic and enjoyable. Our gondolier, Marco, was delightful and our accordionist, Bella, played wonderfully; they helped make the evening truly memorable. I highly recommend to anyone visiting Boston, or anyone living here, to take advantage of this one-of-a-kind experience. We can't wait to do it again! | ||||||

| The Gondola ride is a delightful way to see the breathtaking views of "Boston-by-the-Charles". Our entire family enjoyed the very peaceful ride as we gazed at the sights around us. We got some beautiful pictures! Our "Captain", Marco, provided us with great comfort and a very smooth ride. The basked of treats added a nice touch to compliment our beverages. We couldn't think of a better way to spend such a pleasant Mother's Day. We will surely take another trip down the Charles via the "Gondola di Venezia" some time soon! Thank you ! | ||||||

| The tour was nice, but for the price i expected a little more, we only went down the charles river a little way and came back, it was also kind of cold so that didn't help, my two year old daughter had a good time but she had a lot more fun at the marketplaces at Faniuel Hall, and those were free. We are from Michigan and it was our first trip to Boston, i don't recommend it on your first trip, it is more fun to just walk around the old parts of the city, which is also free. The accordion player and the gondolier were extremely nice though | ||||||

| I proposed on this tour to my girlfriend and she overwhelmingly said yes. The guys on the tour did a great job making sure we were comfortable and providing anything we needed (even a huge umbrella for rain, which we used at one point.). I guess what impressed me the most was when I got a call at 9am the morning of the tour warning me of rain. Joe asked me to reschedule the tour earlier so we would avoid the rain and gave me possible times. That was very professional. Now that you know the tour is great, here's some advice on what tour to take. I immediately chose the most expensive tour b/c I was proposing and I wanted everything to be as nice as possible. However, I didn't look into it and I could have saved $80 and gone without the personal pictures during the tour (you can use your own camera if you have one), large picture of the gondolas, and a can of sparkling soda (not necessary if you bring wine anyway). So, maybe you want to go with the other tour. Your choice. But again, bottom line is this tour is very romantic and done well. | ||||||

| I scheduled a gondola tour for me and boyfriend's 2 year and it was great! The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. We had a hard time parking but once i gave them a call they helped us out with finding a spot. The view on the Charles River is gorgeous and our gondalier brought us out the whole way even though it was windy. I highly recommmend it for anyone to try | ||||||
