From the Ferry Building Marketplace to the dim sum shops of Chinatown to the authentic taquerias in the Mission, San Francisco visitors can enjoy fresh food from cultures around the world, made with the highest quality ingredients.
Our founder, Andrea Nadel, is a former educator who has always had a passion for food. She has been exploring the San Francisco food scene for over eight years, sampling the best each neighborhood has to offer and making connections with local food artisans.
Andrea is also a licensed tour guide in San Francisco.

Activity Description
Do you love fine chocolate? You have come to the right city, because San Francisco is at the center of the new wave of artisan chocolatiers. They’re experimenting with high quality beans, new methods of production, exotic fillings and beautiful packaging. On this tour, you will learn about what makes fine chocolate, and sample from a wide array of San Francisco chocolate boutiques.
Our walk will take us from the Ferry Building Marketplace, which Bon Appetit has called “the nexus of all things good to eat and drink,” to Union Square, home to San Francisco’s finest shopping and dining. You may be tempted by a fleur de sel caramel, a jasmine tea ganache or a Michel Cluizel dark chocolate plantation bar.
This mouth-watering chocolate will come from:
• An artisan chocolate manufacturer, who manages production from bean to bar
• The Italian winner of SF Weekly’s “Best Chocolate” Award
• A small newsstand that carries 225 chocolate bars from over 15 different countries
• An elegant French boutique that debuts innovative "lines" each season
• The retail outlet of America’s longest continuously operating chocolate manufacturer
• A Swiss chocolatier famous for its champagne truffles
All tastings are included in the price. Come prepared to indulge!

Beverages are not included in the cost of the tour. We suggest bringing a bottle of water.
