This museum workshop was intimate and honored those who lost their lives or their families on 9/11. It brought the reality of the World Trade Center losses to life in a touching and memorable way. I highly recommend this.

The ground zero museum is a fantastic way to get a deeper understanding of life at Ground Zero during the clean up. The tour guide was very knowledgeable. The museum is quite amazing and the experience was tremendously moving.

The Individual Impact Became Real

Coming from the Northwest I didn't know anyone personally impacted by 9/11. What I knew was what the media shared. The photos and stories from the Ground Zero Museum gave me a perspective about the individual impact to the local lives and the recovery efforts. I enjoyed the manner in how the museum presented the stories and would recommend this to anyone who wants to learn more about 9/11 and the aftermath. This was an appropriate visit for my boys too. It was not scary but they have a much greater understanding of 9/11. They are 13 and 16.

Our visit was extremely informative about the event ,all those involved victims and recovery personnel. It is sad that what is happening to the recovery workers police, fire fighters etc isn't being told to the world as the after effects of this tragedy is just as horrific as the event itself.I would and have suggested to others that this tour is a must for every human being and my heart goes out to everyone involved.Thankyou it will remain with me for the rest of my life

I' am in the German Navy responsible for the Damage Control aspects, including FF. Due to the job we stand in close contact with the Fire Brigade Hamburg for Ships firefighting. I can imagine what kind of task it was down in GZ. BZ to all this men. I know as well about your daily challenges and salut to every Fire Fighter. In our Team Trainings due to the Command and Control structures we use the DVD from the two french guys because the plans are good but have to work. By the way, if possible, greetings to Chief Pfeiffer. We spoke here about the museum and one of my officers ask me, why we don`t have some artifacts/images to show here and collect money for the different charities. As well we are always interested in presentations done by eyewitnesses. Looking forward to hear from you. Remark: The audio tour should be available in German Greetings Ruediger Grimm Lieutenant Commander German Navy

Must Do in NY

My wife and i spent a couple weeks on holiday in the US. That included just a couple days in New York. There are so many things to see and do in this great city, and visiting the Ground Zero Museum Workshop is one of them. It was an excellent experience and highly recommended. Its a great way to pay your respects to those who died and those who survived the 9/11 tragedy. There are some amazing images on display not too mention artifacts and remains that you could see and touch. A must do for anyone visiting NY.

Amazing and Emotional

The Ground Zero Workshop Museum was an extremely emotional experience. To see and hear about the people who worked so tirelessly and carefully to find anything they could find after the horrible tragedy of 9-11 was amazing. It was all done in such a sensitive and caring way. The photos and the artifacts were incredibly moving. The space is very quiet and intimate and makes the experience all that more emotional. This is definitely a must-see when visiting New York. I highly recommend this museum to everyone.

Mixed feelings

The photography was wonderful and the narrative and artifacts very moving. I was uncomfortable with the well meaning tour guides sense of melodrama..'.this will make you cry, thats why we have kleenex' , and a bit of drama about the events of the day, The events of the day need no false drama to make them moving or emotional...they speak for themselves. It would be like going to a Holocaust museum and being told this is a sad and disturbing experience. It feels somehow disrespectful. I think very little or no intro. from the guide would. have been better, just the facts., and then let the images and stories speak for themselves
