| THIS MUSEUM WAS SO MUCH MORE THAN I EXPECTED !! THE GUIDE WAS TOP NOTCH .
THE PHOTOS AND THE ARTIFACTS BRING FORTH SUCH A DEPTH OF EMOTION WHICH IS SO VERY DIFFICULT TO DESCRIBE. I PURCHASED THE BOOK SO THAT I MAY EXPERIENCE THE WONDER OF THE PHOTOGRAPHS AND STORIES FREQUENTLY. THE ENTIRE PROCESS AND MUSEUM WAS TASTEFULLY DONE WITHOUT COMPROMISING THE DEVASTATION OF HUMAN LIVES.
THE ONLY REGRET WAS THAT I DID NOT HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO MEET MR. SUSON. HE HAS GIVEN THE WORLD AN INTIMATE INSIGHT OF THAT DEVASTING DAY. THANK YOU, MR. SUSON.
NO ONE SHOULD MISS THIS MUSEUM. IT IS APPROPRIATE FOR ALL AGES. |

| We had not spoken with anyone who had visited the Museum but had read reviews. tThe experience brought us back into the moment of 9/11. Because eight years have pasted since the attack and the site is no longer in crisis mode, the reaity of the artifacts in the museum and the telling of the story of the recovery readied us for a visit to the site. I think the fact that life around the site has now returned to "normal" has its own special impact. We can imagine how unprepared and how vulnerable those who walked the streets that day... We then visited St. Paul's ...a fitting end to our journey of grief. |

| This small presentation provides the human face of the terror that was the WTC collapse. After seven years the images of those days had started to fade. The actual site is under construction. People have necessarily moved on. This low key, intimate workshop is necessary to revive the human face of those innocent victims, as well as the heroic efforts of our public safety personnel who ran into the buildings while everyone else was running out. This puts the events of 9/11 clearly into context. Particularly poignant as well is the realization of the sacrifices the rescue workers made, and continue to make, through the toll on their health. Even the valiant rescue canines aren't forgotten here. Many thanks for an exceptional two hours. |

| The many photographs give you a sense of what the recovery process entailed during the aftermath of 9/11. Particularly poignant were the photos of the retired firemen who had lost their sons in the tragedy. |

| We had the pleasure of hearing Gary himself relate his experiences during our visit to the Museum. What a moving tribute to those who perished on that awful day! Would definitely recommend it to all except children. We should never forget!! |

| Among a Red Sox-Yankee game (won by the good guys - the Red Sox) at Yankee Stadium; a Broadway Show; Fourth of July Dinner and Fireworks; tour of Ellis Island (educational) - this 2 hour Ground Zero Museum time was the most poignant, meaningful, and emotionally charged part of our weekend. The presentation was superb and the time to absorb the pathos and the heroism and the human dignity portrayed through the photographs and artifacts of the recovery at Ground Zero touched my soul and required many tissues to dry my eyes. It is important to know that the presentation is not overdone at all. It is the photos and artifacts themselves that evoke - at least for me - emotional response.
I am grateful to my wonderful daughter, Stephanie, for recommending this activity. I am - the writer of this review - her Dad, and my name is Shaun. I recommend this visit most highly. |

| THE WORKSHOP WAS WONDERFUL. VERY MOVING. SINCE SO MANY OF US JUST WATCHED ON TV, THIS REALLY BROUGHT IT HOME. BEING ABLE TO SEE ACTUAL PIECES OF THE GLASS AND SUCH WAS MEMORABLE. HAVE ALREADY TOLD ANYONE THAT IF THEY GET TO NYC, THEY MUST SEE GROUND ZERO MUSEUM WORKSHOP. WHAT GARY HAS DONE AND IS STILL DOING IS VERY COMMENDABLE. |

| Our visit was highlighted by the fact that Gary Suson was actually there and gave us very personal insight into all the photographs and artifacts recovered from Ground Zero. All displays and photos are easily identified and keyed to a personal audio device that allows everyone to move through the museum at their own pace. Each photograph has a unique story and the visit was a very moving experience. I would recommend it to anyone except very young children. |
