| This is such a phenomenal exhibit of photos and artifacts. It was the most moving exhibit I have ever seen. The way the photos are depicted and the audio stories that go with each one allows you to feel like you were at Ground Zero participating in the recovery efforts.
The exhibit is well presented, demonstrating a significant amount of dignity and respect for the events of 9/11 as well as the recovery efforts in the months following.
Mr. Suson, the photographer presenting this exhibit is extremely talented, indeed. However, the characteristic that I most appreciated was his passion and reverance for event he was filming.
I believe this is a "must see" for any one traveling to NYC who wants to "see" Ground Zero. It is a beautiful way of letting children experience this... even if they were not born when the 9/11 events happened. |

| With this exhibit we will not forget the people, the images, the pain, the loss and our hearts can hold 9/11 to honor and remember our fallen fellow USA citizens. Even thought this was such a horrible thing and you see the picture with the big WHY? someone had written and we truly cannot understand you can still see the hand of God and khow he protected so many and even though we don't understand we know that His ways are higher and bigger than ours are and He is truly in control. He writes the final chapter in life and in the end He will prevail against all of this evil. Then all will know that He is the one and only true God. Thank you for sharing this exhibit with us. It spoke volumes to me and my children. |

| I enjoyed the Ground Zero Museum Workshop Tour and I believe it was the highlight of my trip to New York. I really wished I would have gotten a little more time during the self guided tour to listen to all of the exhibits, but I can understand their time constraints. I believe that everyone should take the chance to visit! |

| Book this as it is well worth experiencing, very much an intimate exhibition which at first feels very small but the stories and commentary behind each of the exhibits and photos really give a feel for the history of the day and months after 9-11. |

| This museum was absolutely the best museum I have ever been to. I would highly recommend anyone going to New York to see this place. We had our eight year old daughter with us and she really enjoyed it too. She especially liked learning about the search and rescue dogs. We also got to meet the photographer who was at ground zero, and he explained alot of his photographs and artifacts to us. That was an unexpected surprise. |

| We had not spoken with anyone who had visited the Museum but had read reviews. tThe experience brought us back into the moment of 9/11. Because eight years have pasted since the attack and the site is no longer in crisis mode, the reaity of the artifacts in the museum and the telling of the story of the recovery readied us for a visit to the site. I think the fact that life around the site has now returned to "normal" has its own special impact. We can imagine how unprepared and how vulnerable those who walked the streets that day... We then visited St. Paul's ...a fitting end to our journey of grief. |

| We visited this museum because my husband is a deputy fire chief in Massachusetts and like many others, watched the tragedy unfold on TV. While my initial reaction to this museum was "This is it ??" , due to its small size, it it just amazing how many artifacts, photographs and narrated stories of Ground Zero are actually in this museum. The stories give an in depth view of what it is like to be a firefighter in the aftermath of a disaster. It does not focus on the horrific act of 9/11 or the gruesome recovery of the bodies, but rather on the human spirit of triumph over tragedy. You will see unique photographs and hear stories of what went on at the Ground Zero site from the perspective of the official photographer hired by the fire department. It is a "MUST SEE" for anyone in the fire service or married to the fire service as it depicts the true nature of what this profession does, the sacrifices these people make, and the brotherhood that exists between firefighters that cannot be explained in words. You will "FEEL" sad when you look at a picture of a retired firefighter dad holding the fire helmet of his missing son, but you will "FEEL" joy holding one of the steel crosses or Stars of David that an iron worker cut from the wrecked steel beams of the towers so that each family that lost a loved one in the tragedy, has a piece of the building. You will leave this museum with an understanding that we must "NEVER FORGET". |

| We (two adults and two children age 10 & 12) booked from the UK. I must admit that when we first walked in, the immediate impression was that it wouldn't take long to go round and after 20 minutes the children would be bored. How wrong we were!!. After nearly two hours we all finally agreed that we had gained all of the information. The staff were also very informative and the music set the scene
We later chatted about our experience and would highly recommend it to all visiting ground zero (either before or after) . |
