My friends, our children, and I were truly moved by this experience. There were so many artifacts and personal stories in this one location that I could have stayed all day. Even my 13 year old son was completely immersed in this special collection. Evryone should visit this shrine of remembrance.

The museum itself was very interesting, full of pictures and artifacts from the recovery efforts at Ground Zero. I enjoyed listening to the accounts by Suzon that accompanied the exhibit, and I learned a number of informative facts. I found the exhibit to be tasteful without being too graphic, and diverse in the information it presented. The staff was also quite personable and eager to be helpful.

A must see for any NY trip. This was my 2nd visit in a month, plan on using the entire two hours, as there is that much to view.

Never Forget

Every aspect of this museum is dedicated to the realistic, yet compassionate, portrayal of the unflinching love that shown through in the days, weeks, and months after the attack on the World Trade Center on 9/11/01, The impact of learning the stories of real people who struggled, and who struggle still, with the personal loss empowered us to "never forget." The sensitive photos, the video, the audio guide, and the artifacts are presented through the eyes of an artist who understood the historical importance of each shard of glass, each piece of paper, and each personal story. Don't miss this opportunity. Be sure to get tickets in advance. Perhaps you will be fortunate, as we were, to meet Gary Marlon Suson, the photographer-extraordinaire.

Was surprised how small the room was.

Didn't realize that the 'museum' was a small room. Also, even tho the we were asked not to have conversations on our cell phones the worker returned phones. This was very annoying as it made it harderto hear what was being said in the head phones.

Good experience for the whole family

This museum tastefully displays artifacts and pictures from a signifcant historical event in our recent past. My husband, daughter and I were happy that we included this museum in our list of things to do on our recent visit to NYC. Our daughter is 14 years old and doesn't remember 9/11 personally but found the museum very interesting. I think this museum is good for children aged 12+. Children younger than age 12 might be tempted to rush through the exhibit and be ready to leave before their parents have time to see everything they'd like.

Very breathtaking. A must go to if you're interested in specific details as to what happened during 9-11.
