Moving.

Very enjoyable and moving especially some of the more obscure stories, the dog for instance. I was under the impression that it would include a tour of ground zero, and maybe you should include that or somehow set it up as a package.

Excellent, Intimate telling of 9/11 story

At first, I thought I had wasted $42. Boy was I wrong. This is a very intimate, personal telling of the 9/11 story. Very well structured and detailed. You go at your own pace, learn lots of facts that I personallly didn't know, and get very emotionally involved. I would want to warn people that it does bring up strong, sad emotions. But I left feeling very glad that I went.

While the photos and artifacts are interesting, I feel like $25 is a lot to pay for so little so see. The website describes it as a 2 hour tour, but they showed a video for about 5-10 minutes and talked for another 5-10 minutes. The rest of the time you look around the museum - which is a single small room. Some of the photos have horrible or inspiring stories behind them, but more than anything, I learned that Gary Suson was the official photographer at Ground Zero. I must have heard and read that fact about 2 dozen times. Gary Suson was the official photograhper at Ground Zero. Since this is supposed to be a photo documentation of the recovery efforts, it would have been helpful to have an organized timeline. Maybe if Gary Suson was still giving the "tour", it would be worth it - to have that personal account. The young woman who gave the short talk seemed indifferent - like this was just another tour. Did you know that Gary Suson was the official photographer at Ground Zero?

Compelling visit.

Found the experience informative and emotive, Personally the two hours for the visit was not enough as the tour guide guides you to listen to events through headphones viewing unique photographs taken by a nominated photographer. even the smallest of photograhs with headphones provided give you a personal insight of what happened on the day. There was once piece of artifax which i will not spoil requested not to photograph was very poignant and this alone was worth the visit. I was very moved by the whole experience particular the opening video. Just go and experience this.

Powerful way to witness this event

A really personal encounter with the events and aftermath of 9/11. We visited this directly after visiting the 9/11 memorial. As we are from an international location (Australia) and this event happened many years ago we didnt expect to have an emotional reaction to these two visits - but we did. The Museum Workshop has been well thought out and clearly with a true emotional connection by Gary and the team who worked with him. Because of this I felt like I had travelled back to the time of this terrible event and was witnessing the aftermath first hand. HOWEVER - this whole thing was very tastefully and thoughtfully put together and my fears that this maybe someone trying to cash in on a terrible tragedy were thankfully assuaged. We were on a 3 week vacation in the USA, the first week of which was to NYC. The trip had many interesting highlights and this monument to such a tragic event, whilst not pleasant, was still amongst the most interesting and memorable moments in our holiday.

we think that the museum is amust before visiting grand zero. It gives each person an insight about the people And mainly. About the heros -the firemen that were so brave and risked their lives. The artifacts and the pictures captured the heroic deeds
