Small in size, Huge in impact

This was a great experience. At first glance it seems that it would only take five minutes to see the entire museum, but after almost 2 hours I was wondering if I could take it all in. It really brought everything home. We could see and FEEL ground zero. After the museum my group went to ground zero and it is an experience I will never forget.

This museum was wonderful. You really got to see a lot of remarkable items and excellant pictures. There was an audio tour that informed you about each picture or item. Very emotional but a MUST SEE.

I would recommend this museum to everyone. It really gives you an idea of the the recovery process was like. How hard they worked and the grief that these people suffered. If you do not understand how bad terrisom can be visit this workshop.

Small, but sets out a world of Knowlegde of 9/11

This is a small gem in the meat packing district of Manhattan and worth every penny and minute. You could visit the WTC visitor center and get a glimpse of 9/11 and the future of the WTC site, but you must visit this workshop. I room not much larger than my bedroom but full of so many things to see and listen about. The stories of each item and photograph reach out to you. Even if you did not lose someone in the events of 9/11 you will still feel the sadness of that day through the stories told. Muson was the only person allowed down at the site to take photographs that now echo around the world. He also has pieces he collected in rememberance of the families who had lost. This is a great stop on any one's trip to Manhattan and strongly recommended.

It was very moving and it gave me and my boyfriend an insight to/idea of the impact September 11 had on America and its people. It's remarkable that Gary and all these people came together in such an inspiring way and even more inspiring that Gary chose to put his whole life and soul into making this museum and thereby keeping the memory of this amazing recovery alive. In my opinion, the museum deserves all the attention it can get and I'm just thankful that I was fortunate enough to find out about it on www.viator.com Vicki, Denmark

A Must See

The museum touched me in a very special way. It showed the "after effects" to every day people. I liked it because it wasn't about the dreadful day itself, but the tough and touching moments after. I felt seeing the recovery in the eyes of one compassionate man instead of the media was the key ingredient in making this museum a must see. As a first time visitor to New York, I could have missed the other sites and my trip would have still been great, not going to this museum would have taken away from the "trip of a lifetime" feeling I had after we returned home.

This is one of the best museums. There is just so much information all packed into such a little room. It was time very well spent. I recommend it for anyone who wants to go beyond what you see on TV. It was a very moving experience. Thank you so much to the photographer that has allowed us to explore these images. It was truely a Must See.

The Ground Zero Museum was my favorite activity of the whole vacation. What an amazing piece of work put together by Gary Suson! Listening to the descriptions of each picture, and seeing the efforts put into the recovery of Ground Zero was unbelievable. The museum is just 1 small room, but is FULL of loss, sorrow, hope, happiness, and memories that will make you NEVER FORGET! I highly recommend visiting this museum.
