I can understand why the tour is limited to less than 30 people. The museum is very small (just one room) and I wondered how it could take 2 hours... surely I would be finished before then. But the time flew by and when I finally finished viewing all the exhibits and listening to the stories behind them, I was shocked to see that the alloted time had past.
A beautiful presentation of a subject that was just so utterly shocking and devastating. I have nothing but admiration for the New York Fire Department and Mr Suson. |

While small in size, the details given in video/audio about artifacts/photos present was excellent. Not your typical museum, but I would recommend utlitzing the entire two hour visit to listen and view each and every item--only about 150 or so in the entire museum. |

The Ground Zero Museum Workshop presents us all with an opportunity to rejoice in human compassion, collaboration and our unbreakable spirit. My partner and I both thoroughly relished the invitation to participate in this intimate, interactive experience. Expect to be part of a journey that is both emotional and healing. What a truely heartfelt way to experience New York City....remembering the events of 9/11 that changed our worlds forever. Thank you Gary Suson. God Bless. |

When you first enter the museum, you can't help but notice how small it is. Don't let the size fool you, my friends and I spent the whole 2 hours there and enjoyed every part of it. Before going to NYC, I had read great reviews about this museum and really wanted to check it out. Gary Suson did an amazing job at capturing the moments during the 9/11 recovery process, and I would highly recommend it - a well worth emotional experience. We even got the chance to meet and talk with Gary Suson himself! |

The museum provides an amazing insight into the events of September 11. The individual story with each artifact puts the tragedy into perspective and the real life voices makes is so real.
It is an effective set up which allows everyone to move through the room at their own pace. It isn't about the size of the room, it's all about the experience. |

this small museum was one of the best things we saw in New York that felt like it was a bit more special and off the beaten track. It is a v moving collection that gives you a very humbling experience. The guide was great and very knowledgable. I would recommend this experince to anybody but be warned it is quite an emotional experience, even if, like me, you didn;t lose any family or friends in 9/11 |

My family was touched profoundly by the Ground Zero Museum. Although we are not from New York and we did not know anyone directly impacted by Ground Zero, this exhibit brought to life the raw emotions and impact 911 had on the world. The explanations and stories of each photograph were great (we like that it was a self-guided tour with the individual recorders). The artifacts from 911 and information about them was also very interesting (especially the glass and the crosses welded from the steel beams). Our 10-year-old daughter also enjoyed learning more about Ground Zero, even though she was just a baby when it happened. We visited Ground Zero after the museum tour, and the photographs that we saw from Gary Suson made seeing everything in person even more emotional/impactful. |

Great display of photography from ground zero from immediately after the event. Very human, tastefully presented and heartfelt. Where else can you see and hear such immediate and thorough explanations and history - and we had the photographer himself there to ask questions of!! It was so moving, I just wanted to hug him, not ask questions. |

Although the workshop is located in a small studio, the space is utilized to the fullest and makes for a very captivating, self-guided tour. |
