| Mr. Suson has done an incredible job of creating a museum to honor the people who perished on 9/11 and their families. It was a moving experience none of us will ever forget. Visiting the museum should be on everyone's "to do" list! |

| Our group consisted of my husband and I and my cousin and his fiancee. We read about this museum, but we were a little concerned that maybe it was just some random person who was in New York that day and ran to Ground Zero just to grab some stuff to make money off of it later. We almost decided against it, but looking back now I realize that would have been a huge mistake. This museum was so powerful. Seeing these photos and actual pieces from this tragedy made it feel like I had actually lost a family member. The funny thing is that we were from North Carolina and didn't know any of the victims personally. Just seeing how total strangers risked and lost there lives trying to save the lives of people they themselves didn't even know makes you realize that no matter how different we are we still have human emotions. The photographer Gary Suson brings these emotions back to life with his photos and pieces from that tragic day. As I stated before, we didn't know any of the victims, but we will never forget them either. We stayed in New York for 4 days and this by far was the was the best of anything that we did. I, myself am not a very emotional person, but when I left this tour I had tears in my eyes. It's sad to think back at this tragedy and I can't believe it's almost been 6 years ago. It still feels like yesterday. But seeing this museum makes me appreciate everyday that I wake up and seeing the effort from the whole country that day and even to this day makes me proud to say that I love the United States of America. This is a must see for everyone. IT IS WORTH EVERY PENNY!!! |

| The room is small but brings the whole 9/11 recovery together. Most people will never see this but everyone should.
The day I went we were lucky to have Gary Suson there to talk and answer questions.
The pictures really capture the emotions and heartache of the people doing the work. Being able to hold the artifacts in my hands was humbling. |

| I enjoyed the verbal presentation and particularly liked the photos. As the museum expands it would be effective to have more relics of the actual day. The glass display is great, as is the fragment of the plane. |

| Gary Suson has captured the emotion of the Ground Zero recovery efforts in this museum. From the time I entered the door, I felt the reverence and emotion he put into both his photographs and his museum. All of the artifacts and photos truly reach out and allow the person to feel the emotion of the "brotherhood". The museum tour was one of the most beautiful experiences of my life. Thank you Gary Suson for being devoted to this cause. |

| Mother's Day Weekend - Mother & daughter from Vermont
Our trip to the 9/11 museum was just outstanding. We've both experienced several museums in NYC, but have never been moved quite like our visit to the 9/11 museum. Both my mother and I enjoy learning about history but more importantly, learning about the symbolism of history and that is what this museum was all about for us. The 9/11 museum might be small in space, but not with information. We learned so much more about that day and the many days that followed the 9/11 attacks. Gary Suson's ability to capture history, the event, and symbolism of that day and after is just amazing. The old saying of "You get out of it what you put into it" is how I can best describe this museum. If you want to learn more about that day and the impact of that day on the many people involved, go to this museum. You just won't believe some of the things you hear and learn - just amazing! Worth every penny.
Thanks so much!

| I was very touched by the pictures and the stories they told. I was amazed that all of this history would have been tossed had it not been for Gary. The clock is one of the most moving things I have ever encountered. I'm glad you didn't show the towers going down or the people jumping. Very well done. I would hope some day the museum could be located closer to the site. |

| The Ground Zero museum experience was truly amazing. While the museum consists of one large apt. size room...my sister and I were there for almost 2 hours.
Gary Souson (founder and photographer) initiated the "tour" with some video...then pointed out particular photographs or items which had interesting stories/background.
Each item (photo or artifact) was numbered and you carried an easy to use audio device that gave you a story behind each item...so we were able to check out the items in any order desired.
I would highly recommend a visit to the Ground Zero Museum. You may want to followup with a visit to Ground Zero, particularly St. Paul's Church.

| I went to this tour on the recommendation of a very good friend of mine, Helen, who had found this website while she was browsing the net on New York City tours for our recent visit there. I was intrigued by the photographs that Gary Marlon Suson has taken after being appointed by the FDNY.
Helen & I are deaf and although we had a viewing of a DVD documentary of 9/11th without subtitles, he was very helpful explaining the account of the items he had on display whilst printing two long documents based on accounts of the photographs and items salvaged from the ruins of the Twin Towers in the workshop. It was very informative with overwhelming description too. It has knocked us two back for six!
The Museum Workshop was very well laid out and organised by Gary Marlon Suson.
I would highly recommend that you pay a visit to learn as you will realise the history of the Ground Zero Recovery Period. Heart rendering & emotional stuff too.
Well worth the visit.

| I really recommend this tour and then going to visit the World Trade Center site afterwards. It really allows you to actually experience what happened on the day of 9/11 with more insight and emotions. The tour was emotional, interesting, and informative. |
