| We were in New York for 6 days and this was the best experience that we had.
A small museum but extremely interesting. The whole concept was well organised and sensitively done.We were there as a family and my husband and 13 year old daughter felt the same way.The guides were knowledgeable and helpful and what made it even more special was the fact that Gary Suson, the photographer was there too!
A definite must if you are visiting New York. |

| An enormous amount of material is packed into this tiny museum and it is extremely well managed and presented. I did, however, find myself extremely irritated by the constant reference to the photographer and owner of the museum.
The photographs and artifacts were excellent and a chilling reminder, but it would have been a thousand times more powerful if Gary Marlon Suson had been a more silent narrator, instead of an ever-present star. An independent blue pencil through the script would probably help a lot. |

| I'm so glad we were able to attend this museum. We really enjoyed how everything was set up and how we could spend the amount of time on each artifact that we wanted. It was so thought provoking going back to that horrific day. This is a must-see prior to attending Ground Zero. |

| The museum must be seen to fully appreciate what happened on 9/11. It is a very moving tribute to those that died and to those that risked their lives to save them. it is more of an experience than it is a museum. It cannot be missed. |

| We had heard so many positive comments about the Ground Zero Museum Workshop Tour, and were definitely not disappointed. This was a very powerful and moving experience. The ability to touch and hold some items from the 9-11 disaster during the exhibit distinguishes this museum from others. We were so fortunate enough to have Gary Suson there at the Museum on the day of our tour, and he made an outstanding visit even more special. We highly recommend this activitiy to anyone who wants to learn more about the courage of the firefighters and others who worked and even gave their lives to help save others in the aftermath of 9-11. |

| My husband and I did this tour together. We have watched numerous documentaries on 9/11 and consider ourselves pretty knowledgeable and well read about the events. The most powerful photos were familiar as we had seen them published before. I think the positioning of this to be a "museum" was a bit over the top. And although I thought the tour guides did an exceptional job of presenting and setting expectations of what we'd see verbally, their dress and physical expressions as they conveyed information seemed a bit hokey...the use of walkie talkies, the blue uniformed shirts, etc took away from the value of the content. A more appropriate context to me would be an artist's point of view on 9/11...from that perspective there were certainly moving pictures and some stories I hadn't heard before or remembered. Allow 2 hours for this was way too much time. One hour to an hour and a half is ample. |

| An incredibly rewarding few hours.. Gary's spirit and passion ooze out of the walls of this very special place. If you visit New York you must come. Be prepared to relive some of the raw emotions of 9/11. You will also be uplifted by the photos and stories of the many heroes of that day.
Bravo Gary and thank you for letting us share the experiences and insights that were granted only to you.. |

| The Ground Zero Museum is a tough place to be...but important and valuable. The space is small and personal. The photos and items available to see...and in some cases, touch...will give you a firsthand sense of what happened, the power of the collapse of the Twin Towers, the incredible loss, and the healing process. The experience is an emotional one.
Gary Suson was the official photographer for the Ground Zero recovery efforts. It is clear that he undertook that role with a great deal of honor and integrity.
The small sanctuary he has created in NYC is well worth two hours of your day. |
