| I really recommend this tour and then going to visit the World Trade Center site afterwards. It really allows you to actually experience what happened on the day of 9/11 with more insight and emotions. The tour was emotional, interesting, and informative. |

| We were immensley impressed with the musuem and the work that Gary has put into it.
We have told everyone back home about it and have some friends who have booked onto a tour next month when they come out to New York.
Everyone who visits New York and Ground Zero should visit this workshop. |

| Gary Suson has
From the moment you walk into the Ground Zero Museum until the moment you leave, the powerful images grip you and pluck at your heartstrings. Gary Suson has produced photographs of the horrifying 9/11 tragedy with all the passion and empathy that Walker Evans exhibited when portraying the devastating effects of the Depression on residents of the Dust Bowl. That 9/11 was a tragedy that affected untold thousands of people, including the emergency personnel that so bravely forged into the breach to try and rescue the stranded, makes this tribute even more gripping.
Suson's photograph of the Bible page that he found in the wreckage--Genesis 11:9, which referred to the "Tower" of Babel--was not only eerily prophetic but the highlighted passage speaking about all nations understanding each other made this discovery in the wreckage of the Twin Towers even more profound.
We were fortunate to have Suson narrate our day and the passion wich which he recounted his experience as the only photographer at Ground Zero made the images come alive and leave with us that day.
My niece and her boyfriend from Texas and Oklahoma, respectively, were truly touched by this moving experience.
It is a must see for all who visit New York.

| I think out of respect to the victims and survivors of the events of 9-11-01 this very rare & special museum is a MUST SEE. The pictures & stories alone are powerful enough to move any American, not to mention the items displayed from the Ground Zero site. Don't let the size of the museum fool you. It may appear somewhat small in size at first, but once you realize the significance of what it is you're looking at, you'll be awe-struck. |

| Gary has done an excellent job of sharing his view of Ground Zero! The combination of his pictures and the artifacts takes one right back to the days and months after the terrorist attacks. I had the privilege of working at Ground Zero, specifically at Site One and St. Paul's Chapel between January and June, 2002 and this was my first trip back to New York since then. Spending part of my day with Gary and Joe was very special. Thank you so much Gary!!!! We will NEVER forget!!!

| As a firefighter returning after 9-11, I was deeply moved and appreciative of Gary Suson's work. The sharing of his experience at ground zero is something all of us should see so we may heal but "never foget " |

| My husband and myself attended the ground zero workshop museum with no knowledge of what would be there, we left with lots of information about personal accounts of others experiance of that fateful day. To have this information shared i feel is important as it highlights the courage that many have shown through attending their work wich can inspire others to offer skills they may have and not used. It reminds us of these normal people's lives that we are vulnerable also in our normal day to day events, but also shows the importance to carry on, and not waste the life we have.
I also acknowledge the diffficulty that these survivors have in the need to tell their story without sensationalism.
The outcome is after this workshop, is that I have faces in my head and these will always be remembered, this will always produce thought , which i feel is a success.
Thankyou sherri curtis england. |

| Don't let the small size of this musuem fool you. It is well worth your time to see it. There alot of pictures and some of the actual artifacts that survived the collaspe. A few you can actually pick up and hold. You see a short movie, then then is an auto-tour of the musuem. There are also a few things you can buy. Gary was our guide that day. He is very nice and able to answer any questions we had. So if you can go to New York City, I highly recommend that you add this musuem to your intinerary. |

| We visited both the tribute centre and WTC walking tour and the ground zero workshop museam. Both were very different and touching but the ground zero museam felt much more intimate and close to the experience. Right now ground zero itself is a construction site and will be for many years and while the WTC tribute centre is worth a visit this was for me was the more touching experience. The photos, videos, artifcats from the rubble, talking face to face with someone that had been there and the background music make for an immersing way to feel some of what was felt that day and in the aftermath. Tissues are provided and required by most of us who saw the video and heard the stories relating to the photos and the objects. The book on sale is well worth the money as well! Although this gallery is not at ground zero it is worth the trip. Few things these day touch you to the point that you feel you will never be the same again but our experience at the ground zero workshop tour was definately one of them. May peace join us all and may no one in the world forget |
