| I am lucky enough that I didn't know anyone who was directly affected by 9/11, but it was something that I wanted to gain a better understanding of.
The way the images and artefacts are set out in the room make it a very personal experience. It also makes it special that the narrator is the actual photographer, and he really conveys his emotion as he's explaining the scenario and situation behind each photo.
It's definely a moving experience and allows you to understand exactly what happened on that day, and also what has happened since then in the aftermath and the recovery process.
Highly recommend it!! |

| Even though it was only a few 7 years ago, with the fast pace of life you do start to forget. The museum is a reminder that many lives were totally changed in a short hour of time. Was thrilled to see that artifacts were saved and that the photographer had the insight to realize this was a part of history and should be saved. In our throw away society this is often over looked, but they gave this museum another layer of intensity.
This was recommended by a friend and I have since recommended to others. |

| I had the last tour of the day and was a bit late. That wasn't a problem at all. I just missed the first introduction.
It started for me with an short intro from one of the girls, then a movie about 9/11 a how the founder got the idea of the museum. After the movie a short explanation about the headset and remote and then we could just browse around the museum, listening to the stories behind all the pictures.
It was good, you could walk around at your own pace and listen to only the stories your interested in.
The founder was actually there, just working behind his computer. Don't really know what to think of that...
Overall a good tour with impressive stories. If you take the last tour, you can walk around as long as you like.
p.s. its not near the actual location of ground zero. |

| The museum was exceptional. Very moving, emotional, and professionaly done. The audio description of each article in the exhibit was very well done and added more depth to the experience. |

| The discussion of the event was provided by the photographer himself the day I was there, the video and display were very very well done. The pictures were so moving . It was quite evident how much the photographer himself had been affected by his experience of the horror that he saw,and the time he spent taking pictures at Ground Zero.
Frankly this little museum needs to be moved to a larger space to do it better justice. And I bet more pictures would be on display of this horrible event if there were more room. it was really a touching experience!

| Photos bring you to the reality of what happened and how individuals tried to find everyone that went missing that day. |
