| It felt like I was in someone's bedroom and I didn't feel the right atmosphere, partly because the kids just wanted to get out of there and because people were getting in my way. |

| a small but sensitively compiled record of the aftermath of this evil deed ,seen in pictures and by way of artifacts from the site. We were recommended to see this and we would recommend others. A moving tribute to all those involved. |

| For such a small venue, this place packs a huge punch. Delivered in a sensitive and careful way, the story is told with photos, video and pieces of debris from the site. Be prepared to be upset. |

| I entered not knowing what to expect, a tiny room on the 2nd floor of a building. a room full of pictures, archives, and a ton of humanity. The self-guided tour allowed you to take whatever time you wanted. This was a good thing because it allowed you the time to emotionalyy recover from the last narration. I am a 40+ year-old man and there was several times when all I could do was hold my tears back. There was some humor in some of the photos, so it was good to go back to them and recover from the anger, sadeness, or the many other emotions I was feeling at the time. This "little" museum's set-up was very thought out, very easy to work, and again being self-paced allowed you all the time you needed. I spent almost 2 hours in a 400 sq. ft. room struggling to mentally and emotionally control myself. This is a MUST DO for anyone visiting NYC. Instead of taking a taxi to my next stop I walked the 43 blocks instead. The pictures and emotions still going through my mind, it was like going to a wedding then a funeral then a birth. Again an emotional roller-coatser that was the greatest ride I had inNYC. |

| Everyone will have their own reaction to this small museum, driven, I suspect, by varying degrees of humanity and political viewpoint. Whatever that mixture may be, the fact that one chooses to visit at all suggests the former is of some importance.
Because GZMW is an experience I won't go into detail about what to expect - enough is available elsewhere - but would recommend it as a reminder of those awful days and as a tiny insight into the toil and emotion of those who were involved in the recovery process.
GZMW is not enjoyable, but I am profoundly glad to have seen it and would urge you to take a deep breath and do the same. |

| My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed The Ground Zero Museum. We got a really good feel for what the firefighters and rescuers went through and what they had to deal with. There is a story behind every picture and every item recovered during that time. It was heartwarming and very tastefully done. It’s a great place to go and reflect on that day and hear about the selfless people who made such an impact on that horrific day and time in our history. It’s a must see if your in NYC. |

| I would highly recommend the Ground Zero Museum Workshop tour. The photos were very moving & the stories were incredible. Many of the stories were things I had never heard about. It showed the true magnitude of the events of 9-11 and the aftermath. |
