Gary's photographs and dialogue brought so much detail to Ground Zero. The experience was both heart breaking and uplifting. A special bonus was having the opportunity to meet Gary!

For us, this was one of the highlights of our visit to New York. We were made to feel very welcome and the workshop had a very professinal touch to it. There was a short film at the beginning which set the scene brilliantly and explained how some of the images had been captured. The rest of the workshop was through interactive audio headsets which allowed the user to pick and choose the order that the images and artefacts were viewed in your own time. The photographer, Gary Suson, came in towards the end of our visit and was extremely friendly and approachable - this absolutely made the visit. Very poignant but something that none of us should ever forget. The intricate detail of the images and artefacts brought home to us all the scale and impact of the events of 9/11 to a degree that we had not appreciated before. A must for your visit to New York!

this museum wasn't what we expected - a very small space with lots of photos and artifacts scattered around. but it packs more emotion per square foot than probably any other site in New York City. there are a hundred stories to hear, some you may know already, others that are new, the occasional uplifting or even humorous account, and stories that will break your heart. a very human and touching experience, and one you won't find anywhere else. highly recommended.

I traveled to NYC with my mom and sister. This was a high-light of our visit. It was only 1 room of pictures and articts with an audio tour. We used the entire 2 hours to view and reflect. Gary was there and signed our posters. It was a very personal and moving experience for all of us.

Met Gary Suson the founder of the Museum at St Pauls Chapel near Ground Zero. He informed us of the Museum and its continuing popularity. We were so glad as it was one of the highlights of our trip to New York, and will last with us forever. He has created an intimate Museum which is small in area but huge in spirit and full of compassion. The tour lasts up to two hours and it was a very humbling experience. Would highly recommend.

Myself and four other co-workers were priviledged to visit the Ground Zero Museum a few weeks ago. It was a very emotional and knowledgeable experience. We all felt the very same way. It was so interesting hearing all the stories and seeing the actual photos from the actual event. It made you feel like you were almost actually experiencing the event yourself. Our hearts went out to all the families who lost loved ones. We had kind of forgot all the devastation and terror that happened, however the museum helped us to remember once again all the facts. I am so glad we were able to see such amazing artifacts and photos. We would highly recommend that you think about visiting the museum and then go out to the actual site. You will have a greater understanding and appreciation for the event. Thank you to everyone who put together such a wonderful memorial. Kimberly Roberts-Texas

My sister and I found out about the museum online and decided to take our teenage daughters. We were a little surprised about how small the museum was but after experiencing it, we were so glad we went. I don't think anyone who goes will be disappointed. It was an emotional and a very personal place to visit.

Tastefully executed with sensitive material. You get a sense of the breadth of this tragedy. It shoud never be forgotten.
