We visited the Ground Zero Museum with 8 x 18 year olds.
We learnt so much - none of which (or could have been) broadcast at the time.
So many little details and so many interesting facts.
We were extremely lucky to meet Gary Marlon Suson who answered all the questions the girls had.
We found the museum an extremely fitting tribute to the many thousands of people who perished in the atrocity which was 9/11.
This should be on list of things to do while in New York. |

The tour was very intimate full of so much information. Could be very sad at times as the information was so thorough and real. |

This museum was amazing. Of course it was somewhat hard to visit and I knew it would be sad. The theme was healing. It was small and intimate and there were a lot of little details I learned about that I didn't know especially about the recovery. There were a few things we were able to hold like a piece of glass from one of the buildings. The many stories were touching and oddly enough it did seem to convey a message of hope and triumph. |

A really interesting and moving "little" museum - only problem was it is very poorly signed and we actually thought the taxi had dropped us at the wrong place!!! |

The Ground Zero Museum reflects a great deal of dedication and effort by Gary Suson, and it is a must for anyone visiting New York. The photos and stories are tragic and compelling, yet also inspiring. I highly recommend this! |

A very moving tribute to the recovery efforts of 9/11. The pictures and the stories capture the rollercoaster and raw emotions felt, not only by those close to the victims, but also by those of us who witnessed it on TV. Gary's pictures and stories bring you -- hope, pride, pain and sadness, and even though you walk out teary-eyed, you are so happy you spent 2 hours there. I felt privileged to have been able to see this exhibit. |

This was Awesome, I recomend it to anyone looking for details about 911, what these Firemen and rescuers went thru on that day..... I found this to be very Informative, and it made me Proude of our Firemen and resuers, the way they handled them selves and the Honor they brought to the Victums was outstanding.
I know this 2 Hrs. only scratched the Surface of everything that happened in this Terrible event, this Photaugrapher really lets you understand some of the details , and personnal hardship felt by the firemen and their Families.
I bought the photo book, a must have..... AWESOME......
Thankyou....... Tony Delmonico
I will Never Foreget............. |
