| The Ground Zero Museum Workshop Tour is a must on your agenda if you are visiting New York.
Gary Suson was the official photographer at Ground Zero for the Uniformed Firefighter's Association and Uniformed Fire Officer's Association, and it is his pictures which you will see. He also recovered a number of items from the site, which would have otherwise been destroyed.
Emotionally the Workshop Tour is an informative look at the horrific event that shook the world on September 11, 2001. With the photos and items on view from the Ground Zero site - each has a story which you can hear through audio and so gain a personal insight into that day - a day we should never forget. |

| I was very excited at the thought of seeing video footage and images of september 11 that were hidden from the public. I thought it would be a surreal and emotional experience that every person should see, if only out of respect for those that lost their lives.
While a lot of the images were touching, I thought I would have seen a lot more of the aftermaths of 9/11 than were presented on the walls of the musuem and in the video I saw. Not that I wanted to see human remains or anything like that, but most of the images were of inaminate objects that had been found in the remains.
That being said, I would definitely go to the musuem, more because of that fact that the money you spend on your ticket goes to 9/11 related charities than anything else. That is reason enough, though you may gain more from the experience than I did - just dont expect to be blown away by what you see and you'll enjoy it. |

| I found the museum tour very interesting with lots of opportunities for personal thoughts, quite different than the attribute to 9/11 museum I visited at ground zero as well.
Some of the pictures and items are unforgettable and quite emotional.
Please keep this formula alive, I will recommend it to others. |

| The museum is compassionate to the disastrous events of 911 with a moving and comprehensive display of photo's and many items, such as pieces of a melted computer, office items and a small section of the crashed plane recovered during the clean up process. Viewed in a small group over 2 hours, the display is in one room and after an initial overview, we were left with audio headsets to view the pieces that we wanted to learn more about. It was an appropriate reminder of the tragic events of the day. Hence, it is a hard subject to "enthusiastically recommend" due to the subject matter, however it was worth the visit. |

| Very well organized and in order fashion.
The only problem I had ,was to find the building because considering location, need sign on side walk ,I was not looking high enough.
It was very well made, and by the end I wanted to see and hear more stories.!
After my tour I went around the corner to the bar and left and probably still there a pamphlet about the museum and raved about all afternoon to whoever walked in!
The most touching museum I ever being!!!!
God Bless!

| I did not know anyone killed on Sept. 11, but the museum helped me feel like they were all family. I would recomend this place to all citizens to visit and learn what happed that day. The photographs were wonderful and the audio tour helped me understand what it must have been like during the recovering period. Thank you. |

| This museum excellently chronicles the experiences of the ground zero recovery teams as they sifted through the rubble looking for lost loved ones. Gary Marlon Suson's photos are poignant and powerful, evoking emotion and rememberance of the illfated event. |

| This musuem has perfectly captured the human spirit of all the people involved in the 9/11 recovery period. Before going to the musuem all I could remember was the actual attack but now I will be able to remember the strenght of the human spirit to recover from such an event. As the World Trade Centre site was just a construction site when I visited, I believe this was the best way to honour the victims and their families. |

| This exhibit puts you right in the middle of the whole 911 event. You will have a hard time not shedding tears for the individuals of 911 with the exhibits and photographs of this exhibit. |

| This display of photographs and artifacts from the recovery of the 9-11-01 World Trade Tower attack, collapse, and ensuing disaster was powerful. Even though I was not personally related to any of the victims, I feel the assault had been an attack on all Americans and this museum reveals the tremendous act of love and respect the recovery personnel showed in performing the arduous task of recovery. After viewing the museum pieces I now feel an even greater sense of loss and question why this tragedy ever took place. This is certainly a testament to the photographer and his work. One does not get the feeling that the photographer wanted to do anything but share his view of the gruesome ordeal, both emotionally and physically, that the process took on the brave men and women who cleaned the site. I was particularly affected when I noticed a single woman's high heeled shoe, somewhat crumpled and dirty. It could have been mine. |
