| This was a BEAUTIFUL and VERY moving tribute to the sorrowful loss as well as the heroism of 9/11/01. The museum is absolutely a destination must for anyone visiting New York. We did a lower Manhattan walking tour prior to visiting the museum to see "Ground Zero" first-hand. We took a convenient subway ride to the museum and arrived to a very warm greeting and tour explanation by the staff. The movie and accompanying headset explanations of various items throughout the museum was superbly done and highly informative. The guide allowed us to actually hold several objects from the WTC and that made our visit even more poignant.
Be prepared for a few tears and surprisingly a few smiles that accompany some of the incredible photographs and artifacts. This is absolutely one of the true highlights of our visit to New York and we are definitely suggesting that friends and business associates visit this incredible museum.
Thank you to the friendly and helpful young guides - they told us to take our time and really absorb the museum and we sincerely appreciated their courtesy in allowing us to spend several hours poring over every exhibit and photograph. This was WELL worth booking and attending and is a tasteful, extremely informative exhibit that will no doubt stir the hearts of family members visiting as well as those of us who empathize with their tremendous losses. We are ALL united brothers and sisters in this country and must never forget 9/11/01. |

| The museum is small but very personal and a great opportunity to better understand the post 9/11 recovery. It was unique and offered something for everyone in our party -- including children as young as 10 years. |

| This was the most well done and meaningful activity I have participated in for a long time. Thoughtful and respectful. It should not be missed. I only wish it could go on tour much like the Viet Nam wall so that all would have the opportunity to see it. |

| I took my 12 yr. old grandson to the museum before we went to ground zero. He was too young when it happened to really absorb the emensness of the event. The ground zero museum provided a perfect back-story. No gore and body parts; no planes crashing into buildings. It was about the recovery efforts of all involved, particulary the NYFD. The photographs were art and the photographer and an additional fireman (surviver of the recovery) were there to answer questions. It was quiet and respectful. When we went to the site, my grandson would not take a picture out of respect for those who died there and were not recovered. The only T-shirt he asked for was the "I Love NY", twin towers shirt sold at the museum with proceeds going to NYFD 911 Funds. It clearly made the right impression on him. Bravo Boys! |

| Many times when national events happen, most people only get to see them through the eyes of the media. By visiting the Ground Zero Museum Project, it made the events real and personal. After all of these years, I was able to make an emotional connection with those involved. Now, I carry the memories of so many people who were directly impacted by the events of 9/11.
The photos, stories, and recovery items were displayed in a tasteful manner. Although the museum is quite small, the content is quite large.
Thank You Gary for allowing us to see what you saw throughout the recovery!

| The Ground Zero Museum Workshop Tour was unlike any other museum tour we had ever experienced. The setting was intimate as 11 people on our tour gathered into a small museum filled with photographs and artifacts from Gary Suson, the official Ground Zero photographer. We were fortunate to have Gary as our "guide". He has created a museum of photos and artifacts that capture the reality of the 9/11 tragedy. Each photograph or artifact literally tells a story as you listen to Gary tell a moving, personal story about each one.You do this at your own pace by listening to the stories through a hand held device and headset. Gary is a very humble individual. Although his book, Requiem, was available for purchase, he never promoted the book during our visit. I purchased the book and am so glad that I did, as the photos in the book are the same as the photos in the museum. As life continues on, this museum reminds us that we must "Never Forget".

| While the location is not ideal, the information presented in this museum is information the public would otherwise have not known. The official photographer happened to be giving the tour the day we were there and autographed some things for us. I would recommend to go to the museum tour before Ground Zero to truly appreciate what happened that day that America will never forget.
