| Absolutely a one of a kind experience. Little nervous at first because the room was so small, but spent two and a half hours mesmorized by these photographs. Very well done and presented in a way that really draws you in.
A must see!

| I was planning a trip to New York City with my youngest daughter as part of her 16th birthday celebration. I used the internet to research the areas we wanted to see. Having not been to NYC since the WTC bombings, it was one of the destinations on my list . I saw information about the Ground Zero Museum Workshop on a WTC site. After reading about Mr Suson's experience while visiting the Anne Frank home, I knew I wanted to bring my daughter to the Ground Zero Museum Workshop. Since she was 8 years of age at the time of the WTC bombings, I felt at age 16 she would be able to have a better understanding of this historical time. The presentation of this event was on a level which the media completely missed. It showed the true grit of those involved in the recovery and the dignity with which they carried out the unimaginable. We learned more in just two hours about this tragic event (even though I had watched the media coverage), its' effect on those living in New York City and our own connection with this part of history, more than I thought possible!. My daughter questioned me afterward about why her history classes have not be able to convey this information in the same way. I told her sometimes you have to hear from someone who was there, just as Anne Franks' diary brought that part of history to us, Gary Suson gives voice to this historical event through photographs, artifacts and his personal descriptions. This was the most memorable time we spent in NYC and in the months to come it will be described and discussed with many family and friends. |

| My husband and myself attended the ground zero workshop museum with no knowledge of what would be there, we left with lots of information about personal accounts of others experiance of that fateful day. To have this information shared i feel is important as it highlights the courage that many have shown through attending their work wich can inspire others to offer skills they may have and not used. It reminds us of these normal people's lives that we are vulnerable also in our normal day to day events, but also shows the importance to carry on, and not waste the life we have.
I also acknowledge the diffficulty that these survivors have in the need to tell their story without sensationalism.
The outcome is after this workshop, is that I have faces in my head and these will always be remembered, this will always produce thought , which i feel is a success.
Thankyou sherri curtis england. |

| I found the Ground Zero Museum by complete accident while looking at things to do while in New York, although it looked interesting we all arrived on the day not really knowing what to expect, I guess we all had that element of doubt as to whether it would be a little disturbing and possibly tacky but I have to say it has been the highlight of our entire trip.
We were lucky enough to have Gary Suson himself do the tour for us and I would say to anyone going to New York to go to the museum, there are lots of facts about what happened on the day, many photo's and artifacts from the actual site along with over 100 differen't commentries recorded by Gary himself explaining many things, it was a very emotional morning for our entire party and a very humbling experience, we all left feeling very drained but very pleased at the same time we did it, I wouldn't have missed it for the world.
This is a must for anyone visiting New York, take half a day out and check it out. |

| This was definitely the highlight of our weekend! It's small but a powerful collection of artifacts & photos. A lot of time was obviously taken to combine the stories for each photograph and item. Give yourself a couple hours to experience this site. Do not be afraid to take children with you. We talked for hours (and days) after the visit. Carla was a great tour guide and speaking with Gary Suson was amazing. We should all...NEVER FORGET. |

| This museum was amazing and very touching it is something everyone must see to realize what happened on 9-11 and years after. Not only is it a reminder to never forget. It is a soft warm place to feel a since of healing. The emotion in each picture definately tell a story and every piece in this museum is shown respectfully. It was especially good for my children to be able to understand. I have already told many of my family and friends about this museum and that it is a must see. |
