I didn't enjoy this, and it lasted too long.

I think this museum was very self-serving; the person who took the photographs opened this museum and narrates all the audiotape. The other guides spent so much time describing things that you were then going to listen to on the audiotape, it was redundant and overly long. I would not recommend this tour to anyone I know. I'm glad that some of my ticket price went to surviving families of 9/11, otherwise I would have asked for a refund.

I wanted to visit the museum but didn't know what to expect. To my surprise it was very good. The place is small but well laid out. I liked the self guided audio tour. I appreciate the emphasis on the heroes and the positives that came out of the tragedy. The staff was very nice and courteous. It helps to know that the proceeds go to the charitable organizations of which help the children that lost parent(s) that day. I would recommend this to anyone.

This museum effectively uses exclusive photographs (with audio explanations) and recovered artifacts to provide a profound and moving insight into the aftermath of 9-11 at the Ground Zero site. Highly recommended.

This museum is well worth the admission price. For everyone who remembers that terrible day this museum brings forth all emotions. You will laugh some, cry some but most importantly you will learn many things. This museum does not focus on any graphic images of the attack or loss of human life but rather focuses on the triumphs and lessons learned

The Ground Zero Museum was a highlight of our trip to NYC. It is a must see for anyone who is wanting to grasp the enormity of 9/11 and the impact on personal lives. The photography is amazing and the short stories told by the photographer are an excellent way to tell the story in a manner that is interesting, educational and captures the emotion of the situation. It's an intimate setting and enables people to go through the exhibit at their own pace, which is another nice feature. It was also a treat to go through on a day when the photographer was present. The tour guides are excellent and, obviously, committed to the cause of telling this important story and preserving it's place in our history. Don't go to NYC without a stop at this special place.

My wife, recent college grad daughter and I visited the Ground Zero Museum and found it to be one of many highlights of our first ever trip to New York City. Small but mighty is the best way to put this intense museum that captures the real heart of those who participated in the post-tragedy recovery. The audio tour format was nice because it allows one to explore each of the many photos and artifacts in the museum. We highly recommend this tour.

Our family visited the Ground Zero Museum recently. It was a good introduction for our kids who were too young when 911 happened to know anything about it. It wasn't gory at all. It's a small museum with headsets and audio relating to the pictures on the walls. Each person could choose what they did or did not want to listen too. Having just a small group was great too.

Small venue but plenty to see. Also only small groups of people in at one time so you could spend time looking around without feeling others were on top of you. Guide very helpful and everything very organised. No distasteful material.

I had read the other reviews about how small the museum was, but was still amazed that we spent close to 2 hrs. in there w/ 2 teenage boys. It was all so tastefully done-moving stories and pictures that actually gave me peace amidst all of the violence and destruction. Loved that Mr. Susson focused on the hope, brotherhood, and recovery efforts of the heroic men & women. Would defintely recommend to others!

It was great the day. When we were there Gary was there also. He gave his first hand account of the event. It truly might be the smallest museum with a big impact. When I went up stairs to the room, I thought it was small and we would be done in 20 min. It look us the total 2-hours and we could have spent more time there. The photo's are a snot shot our our history. Very well done without dwelling of the horror of the day. A great tribute to the FDNY. Each exhibit/photograph is accompanied by a number and the explanation of it is then able to be heard in the recorded audio guide provided. You can go at your own pace. You can rest your feet and sit on one of the chairs and listen to the audio while you view the photos. I went with my 12 year old son. It helped him understand the event in our history without scaring him. Some of the money raised from this go towards some of the 911 victims. A must see. Thanks Gary great job!
