A beautifully executed display of pictures and artifacts from ground zero, each one accompanied by a sensitive but not overly emotional narration by the artist. Very touching. Highly recommended.

A wonderful tribute to the memory of the people who died at Ground Zero. Well worth a visit whilst in New York. A small museum which has been organised with great thought and flair and enables you to participate in the audio tour whilst viewing the photographs and artefacts at your own pace. Take a tissue or two for this one.

It was very interesting to be able to see it at your own pace. Loved the smalls groups and the pictures were awesome. Have just moved from Chicago to PA for my husband's work. Friends from Chicago found the tour on line and we accompanied them. Even the teenagers said it was good and not boring. Have told my husband that he and my boys need to see this next we come it for sightseeing of NY.

This museum workshop topped our trip to the city. An absolute treasure and timepiece is within this museum. Very easy to find and very friendly tour guide. Also, had the opportunity to meet Gary Suson. He is an amazing person. September 11 is a tragic event that is a part of our history. Gary was able to capture this like no other and created something spectacular for all of us to see. He allowed this part of history to never be forgotten. Definately take the time to visit, it is worth every penny and moment.

Our whole family was very moved by the Workshop. The care and compassion that was shown in presenting these stories made for a very moving experience. Our teenagers thought that it was the most interesting, worthwhile visit of our 3 day stay in NYC.

Attending the Ground Zero Museum Workshop Tour was one of the most amazing experiences of my life. How something so tragic can be captured and represented in such a beautiful way is beyond me. This exhibit represents the reality and the tragedy that took place on September 11th and the many grueling months after. However, Gary's pictures and the way the museum is set up is so respectful to all of those that were affected on that awful day. Touring the museum is an event in my life that I will never forget. I am truly honored and blessed to have been given the opportunity to experience something so magnificent. I highly recommend this museum to everyone. Thank you to Gary for creating something so wonderful.

The BEST thing we did in New York!

I found the Ground Zero Museum and Workshop Tour on the internet. To be honest, before we went, I wasn't sure it was worth the price. There are other Ground Zero "things" to do in NYC. But, I would pay 10X the price to attend again. It is a very intimate setting, a small studio-type apartment. There was a young gentleman who is training to be a NYC firefighter as our tour guide (really more of a host). He gave a short history of the museum and how it came to be, showed a couple of videos, maybe 10-15 minutes and then we were given headsets to go at our own pace by typing in a number next to pictures and artifacts. We could ask him questions about any of the pictures there. It was very emotionally moving to see and touch some of the actual pieces of the WTC, to hear the stories behind such pieces. The museum does NOT show the planes hitting the WTC, it focuses on the recovery. Very uplifting experience. As you walk in, you are instantly taken back to 9/11, raw emotions that have been surpressed for years. You see the faces and hear the stories of families directly impacted. Very peaceful, uplifting, rewarding experience. The best 2 hours we spent in New York!
