I loved the pictures and stories behind the photos and items here. I just wasn't a fan of the set up, it was like hearing someone give an opening statement in a trial having to listen to the 2 college students talk at the beginning of the tour. They moved around the room as they spoke about certain pictures, which was not very comfortable as you had to turn around in your seat (opposite of where the TV was) to see what they were pointing out.

| A very impressive, hard and beautifull tour. We all saw the the planes flying into the twin towers, the movies, but what happened afterward, what you showed (in a very respectful, not dramatic way) in the tour means understanding what the people involves had to go through.
I'm glad we had the change to see all that. It's a part of NYC, which need to be told.

9/11 is a big and personal event. Your museum allowed me to process the experience how I wanted in an intimate setting.

the workshop gives you an indepth view of the recovery operation and certaintly tests your emotions. At some point we all shed a tear or two but came out saying in a strange sort of way it was the highlight of our visit to New York. A visit we will never forget and our gratitude goes to Gary Suson for creating this museum in such a sympathetic but interesting way. The visit had a positive effect on the whole family as it allows you to view items together or due to the personal headsets take time to be with your own thoughts. Its important we never forget.

the tour was done in a very informative sensitive way. Gary Souson was there to introduce the tour, along with a fireman from 9/11. I would highly recommend this workshop museum

Enjoy is the wrong words, but I felt privileged to be there and to see the artefacts. Because the museum is so small you feel much more involved somehow.

Picture gallery, not museum workshop

The place is a great little space, very intimate, which is the effect wanted by the owner, but at times it felt more like a gallery of his work, than a true museum of 9/11. The pictures are great, but it's the commentary attached to some of the photos which seem a bit incongruous at times. There's a great picture with the Americaln flag, but the talkover concentrates on how he got the picture 'just right', instead of the meaning of the photo. Maybe some pictures don't need dialogue attached to them. As a whole though, it's an interesting place to visit and it did give me more of an insight into the events surrounding that dreadful day.

Touching and moving stories of rescue workers at Ground Zero, as well as a close and personal look into their sacrifices. Excellent photos, great audio guide.
