I was so touched with all the kindness and love of NYC and the other workers from all over. It gives me goosebumps to know that our country is so great and so quick to respond to diseasters even though it puts many lives in danger. I did feel sad about our dogs that gave their lives.
Great, loving, kind people and animals! |

The " small" Museum is so well put together and the narrative is so emotional. I feel everyone should visit this museum not only to pay tribute, but to realize how horrendous this attack was for everyone. My brother, myself and my granddaughters
felt this was well worth attending. Thank you. |

My husband and I had visited NY 14 years ago and had been fortunate enough to go up the twin towers, so on our recent trip to NY we decided to visit the workshop and were not disappointed.
From the minute you are met outside to the moment you leave, it is a very moving experience. Although only held in a small room, the impact was great; the pictures and artifacts were fascinating. You are given a walkie - talkie with headphones and this gives information about each picture or item you wish to hear about by pressing a number on the handset.
Gary arrived while we were there and had a chat to us - you cannot imagine what he must have seen.
I would thoroughly recommend this on your trip to New York. |

Our group was comprised of a NYC resident, a former NYC resident and some out of towners. We all felt that you had to see this museum. It is not enough to see the former World Trade Center Site, you must see and hear and feel the things in this museum. |

Since there is little to see at the WTC site itself, this a chance to remember and recognize the firefighters role and their losses during the aftermath. I was glad that it wasn't too brutal and although I was moved and interested, I didn't feel wracked with grief as I didn't need to go through that again. Hosts were great. Different to do something in such a small intimate space. |

Holding steel from one of the buildings of the WTC was an intimate connection to 9/11. It is an emotional visit and reminds us of all that New York, and the nation, has endured. Up lifting and a loving tribute to all those first responders. |

The Ground Zero Museum is a tough place to be...but important and valuable. The space is small and personal. The photos and items available to see...and in some cases, touch...will give you a firsthand sense of what happened, the power of the collapse of the Twin Towers, the incredible loss, and the healing process. The experience is an emotional one.
Gary Suson was the official photographer for the Ground Zero recovery efforts. It is clear that he undertook that role with a great deal of honor and integrity.
The small sanctuary he has created in NYC is well worth two hours of your day. |

This is a very intimate, compassionate look at the aftermath of 9/11. It illustrates the human reactions and dedication of the recovery workers and is well worth visiting. |

The experience reminded us of the horrific day in September 2001. The hard work of the NYPD and NYFD and the number of lives lost. It is a reminder that we as Americans should stay united in the fight against terrorism. |
