| The ground zero museum was a very moving expeience for both of us.
As we are both Paramedics and i am also a Fire-Fighter in the uk.
The ground zero museum is a mest see for anyone in the emergency services.
The staff there were first class and very helpful.
The firefighter (Gary) that took the potos of gorund zero was also there to talk to us. |

| As the wife of a serving Firefighter I knew that this would be an emotional experience but also one which was uplifting too. The museum is set out in a way that you are able to learn all about the terrible events of 9/11 almost first hand. It was very moving to see how this awful event unfolded before us all , but filmed and told in such an understanding and sensitive way that makes it an absolutely essential place to experience. The museum itself is set in a fairly small area and is quite intimate so is only open to small parties of around 10 people at a time, so it is advisable to book in advance. It was uplifting because you can also read about how those involved are comming to terms with what happened and how life goes on after it. I would recommend this museum as no matter how far away you were on that date it was an event that touched all of us and it makes us realise how much people give through their work for others without a thought for themselves. The ultimate sacrifice. |

| Well worth the money and time if you are in New York City. The museum was not what I expected in a physical sense, it is in a smaller room, and the number of people are limited, so book early to save a spot. The room is surrounded by Suson's photographs of the recovery, each with individual stories or experiences narrated by Gary Suson.
The stories and photographs depicting the aftermath of this disaster were very moving. There is a short video presentation in the beginning and then some hands on exhibits and stories. The rest of the time is spent listening to numerous stories and experiences during the months of the recovery operation. This was very nice because you could go at your own pace and listen to as much as you wanted, as many times as you wanted. I would suggest going to this museum first before heading down to ground zero, the Subway is short walk after the Museum tour and it takes you right to Ground Zero.
A moving experience...NEVER FORGET |

| The museum itself was interesting and moving but pretty overpriced and not what we expected. The "museum" is a one room apartment in an apartment in the city. It is devoted to the photography of the official ground zero photography. While the photos are beautiful and moving and the museum holds a lot of neat artifacts from the site, I don't think it was worth the $25 entrance fee. (Although they say some of the money goes to the charities devoted to victims' families) It took about 1.5 hours to go through if you listened to every audio "snipit." Do not, by any means, bring children under probably 10 years old. I had read it was "kid friendly" but my husband and I had to take turns sitting in the hallway with our son while each of us toured the tiny room which was full of breakables our son wanted to touch! In short the concept was neat and the photos beautiful but not for kids and not worth $25 each. |

| No words can describe what you will see and hear in this museum. Anyone with a soul will be moved by Gary's work. Make sure to plan a stop to the Ground Zero Museum during your next trip to NYC. |

| We visited from Australia in early September 2009. This was my second visit - this time with my mother (I went last year too!). It's an emotional experience but without a doubt the highlight of our trip to New York. I always leave feeling grateful for what I have in my life and that's a good feeling. We were fortunate enough to meet Gary Marlon Suson, the photographer and creator of this museum. He's a top guy - very approachable and friendly. I really liked him. The museum is suitable for all ages. I would highly recommend visiting this museum when you are in New York. |

| The workshop though tiny in physical appearance was magnanimous in terms of the worth of the displays and photograph memories of what was before 9/11 and what came out of it. It is representative of so much love and compassion amidst the documented destruction that one comes out feeling proud to be human and with a renewed faith. The pictures displayed each have a story that will touch one's heart. The ambiance at the workshop is created to make it a very soothing experience. A must visit if you want to know the real ground zero. |

| A place that helps everyone heal and everyone to never forget. A very moving and very simple and tasteful compilation of the journey of the recovery workers. We were simply blown away by the whole experience. |
